I am a great supporter local fly shops! What was interesting about this was the selection. Fly shops should have bundles like this for beginners ready to go.

I had purchased some woolley bugger from Walmart last week and they look exactly like those one. The sparkling bits of strings is what gave it away for me.

Interesting! I just got all my stuff to start with off Temu except the nymphs… but these look good enough!

I wish they assorted the sizes also but looks decent for $23

Yes, looks like most of the nymphs are 12 and 14's

you are such a nice guy brother, keep posting these awesome videos, although I dont fish temu flies yet its really cool to see you found a cool box full of them. ignore the hate about temu lol, some people out there who cant even afford to support fly shops (that charge alot of money for the term "fly fishing") should know about things like this. youre a good man mike. thank you :D

great review. if my local fly shops would sell tying products at a reasonable price i would support them more. but they gauge us so badly. when i make and sell flies if i get a good deal on materials i always pass them on to my clients.

The box is the cheapest of the cheap

i have got fly tying stuff from them and a few boxs not got flys but for the price its not bad try to find a box like that i bet its over 15$

yes its a very nice box. I've recently tried the flies for smallmouth bass and have been very successful.

Wanted to order from them, can't figure out the sizes i.e. size 10, 14 16 etc.

You’ve never used a bumble bee for panfish?

Surprised how good they look. Be nice to see them closer up. I'm not American, but are the flies in the fly shops actually made in the States by Americans? They must cost a fortune!

I think most are made overseas. Kenya has lots of fly tiers.

When you can get a box like this for $23 US dollars ..... They don't need to last forever! It makes sense as well as cents.

I guess it's okay if you are okay with somebody in a prison camp doing forced labor in Communist China. I am not. I tie my own. If I go to other places, I am fine picking up some local patterns. This is my 61st season with the fly rod. I started early. And yeah, there has been a lot of inflation in the sport. I will say that fly lines are by far better than ever.

Sorry but I am not supporting something made in China and everything from Temu is China based vendors. It's bad enough we are starting to use all these synthetic materials to catch fish (which I am sure isn't great for the environment) but I'll stick to tying my own or buying from locals.

I agree with you but as I type on my Chinese iPhone I think these flies while not good quality are certainly fishable.

@@MikeMouradian Your iPhone doesn't have a great substitute (sorry I too am an Apple user). Your flies do.

fish don't care about pretty. they strive to eat ,breed ,and keep ftom being eaten. If really hungry they will eat most anything. Papa wishing you well

my number 1 bass fishing fly is wooly buggers. I make them bigger than normal up to 2/ 0 and 3/0 hooks. black and olive top colors. PAPA WISHING YOU WELL
