One night, Ex-husband made that threat. The next day, while he was at work, I packed what I could into my car and found a parking lot to camp in until I figured out what to do from there after 13 years of marriage. I'd rather be wrong and leave, than right and stay. It's never easy to leave a relationship, but sometimes very necessary.

It's impossible to "leave the parents out of it" when a young man thinks that this behavior is acceptable. Women if you are in an abusive relationship do not tell them your leaving just leave when their at work, when you go to the corner or grocery store. It's 500 ways to leave someone without them knowing your plans. I too was in an abusive relationship and I got out alive with me and my children. You can always start over and don't worry about material things just get out.

Not because his mother did what she did means that she's a dummy when you give birth to a child and that child gets into trouble as a parent your first reaction is to help she was just trying to help him yes it was a bad choice to make however a mother will always be a mother. When your child do something like that it doesn't normally mean that you didn't raised him right it could also means that there is bad influence in the company that he keeps or even in his neighborhood all we can do is pray for our children and hope that they become positive roll models in society these are two young kids 18 and 20 years old that hurts deep inside

I kept seeing this video show up in recommendations so finally decided to watch it. It’s such a heartbreaking tragedy. There are without doubt a hundred and one layers to peel back on domestic violence, and there’s not one answer to solve it. There’s a lot of teaching and encouraging women/men to leave their abusers and the situation, and then there’s also a lot of post healing to do after the fact. There is so much generational trauma and wounding that just perpetuates more of the same as generations go by, and it’s a vicious domestic cycle. These were kids still, not experienced in healthy relationship, obviously. Him with his sinister intentions and her with her naivety about his intentions. Both of them making choices based on childish perceptions. A weapon a kid should not have access to. A heated and impulsive moment. Of course it could all go wrong. 🙄

''It really shows the importance of having healthy relationships.'' No. This really shows that YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE INTIMATE RELATIONSHIPS just for the sake of having someone, or to avoid being alone. She obviously had no sense of her own worth, so his threats and abuse was ''normal'' to her, which is why she sat there and took it all. People talk about ''healthy relationships'' but what they really mean is ''find a healthy guy'', the emphasis is never on the still immature, but sexualized, damaged and needy girl who drops her knickers (and any standards) FOR THE SAKE OF ''HAVING A BOYFRIEND'' regardless of how unfit and unsafe that guy clearly indicates/or reveals himself to be. And these girls' parents? Oh, they're the TV, smartphones, celebrities, social media...and BET, the final nail in the coffin. I would understand girls being more ''relaxed'' in places and societies where the killing of girls/women is not ''the daily bread'' as it is in these Black neighborhoods, but when this is your reality, how the hell are girls still not being taught to value themselves? Should have a bright future and a loving husband, yet at 13, 15, 17, they are being shot dead by their ''boyfriends.'' I despair!

Rest in peace 🙏 🕊 ☮ Abuse is nothing to Play with. I remember one night my ex got physical with me for no reason! I did been cramping all day. He wanted to argue about me laying down. I had a few choice words for the bum and got up to make my way through the dinning room,, then this piece of trash pushed me to the floor . The argument got REALLY HEATED! I hit his ass back and screamed,"THEY DID WORST TO JESUS!" He lifted his hand to strike me and we heard the hallway door slam hard AF! I screamed and he stood frozen in place, mouth and eyes wide open as if paralyzed, then fell to the floor stiff as a board! His body seized and his teeth gritted! I ran to the kitchen and grabbed a knife and walked through the home. I was SOO SCARED 😱!! I could still hear him in the dinning room making strange sounds like he was trying to speak but couldn't! I looked out of the living room window to see if anyone was out there...There was not a soul out there! I ran back to the dine, put the knife down on the floor and dragged his stiff body to the bed room. I was screaming his name and shaking him. I smack him and shook him again then he cried out loud and screamed HE! HE WAS BIG AND BLACK! GRABBED ME! YOU SEE THAT!?😲🤯😳😳😳 I WAS TERRIFIED! I said, see who!!? All he could do was cry and look scared AF! I GRABBED MY CAR KEYS AND PURSE AND DRAGGED HIS ASS TO THE EDGE IF THE BED, GOT MY BEARINGS, PICKED HIM PUT AND HEADED FOR THE FRONT DOOR! Got him in the car, then went to my nearby cousins house to tell them what just happened. My cousin in private told me that she believed it was God's intervention, could have been Jesus himself! I was mind blown to sat the least! From that moment on I knew that I had to leave him and began doing so covertly. I was not gonna give him a chance to thwart my escape plan. Been happy and thriving every since.👏👏👏🙏🙏💯🕉💪❤❤💫🥂 WORD TO THE WISE, GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN!PLEASE.❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
