Overall I thought the class was very good, I have had my D800 for a couple of years, but never really knew all the ins and outs of it. I’m a serious amateur and with the cost of this camera I thought it was about time to know what all the whistles and bells are. Although there are newer cameras out there, the D810 and the D850, the D800 is plenty for me. I finally understand what the menus are for and how to work them. It’s not an all inclusive class but it definitely gave me a great deal of information and I finally feel that I know how to get the most out of my camera. Thank you John!
Hi. Just came across your class about the D800. Unfortunately I could only find the first 10 minutes ! Is there anyway I could see all.
How do I download the class.. I'm upgrading from a D200 to the D800E. Thanks
I have learnt an important lesson here, and that is to read the comments before I watch something...
I use Nikon,but i have to say this few years ago i was in Turkey very cold weather we enter the shop i want to do take few shoots Nikon was fog up would not focus i had my ContaxN1,i grab that one no problem so my feeling Nikon have to do lots of work yet.
The complete course is 5 hours and goes over the complete camera, menu options, lenses and just about everything you need to know to get the most out of it. This is just the introduction.

So frustrating. I like John's delivery but why so long winded? At the 10 min mark any person that values their time is gone because you have learned nothing. Oh except for some of Johns personal likes and dislikes.

I agree with everyone, and im sure we all mean this with best intentions, 15 minutes about who, what, when, how your going to deliver this class... really?! Skip all the BS and get to the point, you will have people walk out on you if you continue this way. Good luck, im going to find another video that gets to the point
