Great vid, but when have exposure indicators ever as standard had brighter (+) on the left? It’s been on the right on every camera I’ve ever owned at least since my 35mm film 5D. Never knew till now that was even an option to change

This Nikon is the best that I have

Martin, I’m happy to report that my Nikon D800 kit arrived earlier today. Both the owner and camera are resting and doing well. I’ve just watched this set-up video to give me a starting point. However you were going through it at a hundred miles per hour so a bit of pausing and replaying needed here. I’ve also fitted a PENTAX strap just to show my sense of humour and also because the strap is in my opinion a better design as regards securing the camera. And if I want to be really retentive, the PENTAX strap is also a nod to the camera’s sensor which is used in the Pentax K1 I believe. Anyhoo, I have the Zeiss 50mm f1.4 Planar fitted which does make the camera a bit front heavy but I’m hoping the sensor and lens are a good match. 😎

Hahaha that’s great reminds me of when Kai had the canon strap ok his Nikon or other way around can’t remember I did similar on my cameras before too I like that, hope you enjoy it

Hi Is there any option in this camera where autofocus Point moves automatically from Vertical to horizontal position of the camera.. I think it is called store by orientation in other models of nikon

I wish I found this tutorial 10 years ago... I loved the camera but hated how long it took to AF. Welp better late than never :D thank you

To be honest the only things I change are to silence the beep, set up back button focus, copy between the cards and bracketing Anything else I couldn't remember so I leave ion default and don't bother with custom settings The set up for playback I will look at, so thanks for that 📷👍
