When I bought my S23 Ultra, I was so amazed with the performance and battery. I told myself I will be using this phone for the next 4 years. Now, I am thinking of upgrading it to the S24 Ultra by January.

It will be a decent upgrade only if S24U brings 1 inch sensor with most of those AI implementations in their camera software and gallery apps, otherwise will be just a slightly upgraded S23U camera, just like Apple when they went from 12 to 48mp, the difference was big enough to justify an upgrade, but from 11 to 12 to 13 the difference was minimal.

Remember that the whole point of marketing is convincing you that you need something you don't. It is impressive, but the s23 is more than capable already. Wait for the s25 ultra. Then you will actually feel the upgrade

I’d use it for the 4 or 5 years. My girls is still snappy after almost a year. My iPhone 13 loses signal all the time literally cuts off even in places it’s supposed to have full bars and it has way worse lag than on android. I’m never dipping into this side ever again I’m definitely an android guy. Probably will get the s24 ultra I love emulation and my old google pixel xl that literally has to be plugged in for emulating cause it dies so fast doesn’t do too much good emulation. I also have a note 10+ I need to fix the screen that thing was playing ps2 at 2x resolution that’s a snapdragon 855 which is years old already

DUAL CHIP type of processor can function as efficiently as a single processor but can perform operations up to twice as quickly. Because each core has its own cache, the operating system is able to handle most tasks in parallel. So it double processesing power.

Unlike the Tensor 3 I expect all this to happen on device rather than relying on the cloud. This could be next level but why oh why aren't more manufacturers giving us 4k120fps like Sony, OnePlus and Asus? Looking at you Samsung and Apple.

Oh no I was referring to video capture at 4k120fps on the rear cameras. Sony pioneered the way and OnePlus had it on the OnePlus 9 and I think ZTE with the Axon 40 phone enabled that feature.@@123playwright

Why would anyone waste money on a 4k display for a phone? I can barely tell the difference between 1080p and 1440p on mine, so don't even pretend that you can see a difference with 4k on these tiny screens

​​@@norfabatonasfor resolution yeah, 4k is useless, 2k can have a bit of reason if the screen is bigger, but it is better to have an LTPO 1-120Hz than a 4k 90Hz. But still, these are gimmicks, even 90/60Hz is okay for normal use. It is not a PC and doesn't have PCs utilities

Still rocking sd 835 on my galaxy note 8😎. Will probably get an 8 gen 3 device next year.

Oh I love the performance jump and special NPU 98% jump in 8 Gen 3 for AI. It's so futuristic. Hope Android is well optimised for it, they kinda ruin the experience. Or else iPhone won't come this close.

The 7+ gen 2 is amazing. Almost on par with the 8 gen 1, way better thermals, power draw and price point. The 7 gen 3 is sure to be great. Might take another year to get some of the a I. Features though.

Most peoples in the comment doesnt realize that the latest ip currently easily overheat if put underload doing mutiple tasks at a single given time. While the s23 could hold out for much much longer under the same condition.

A17 is the most powerful. So powerful it even caused battery draining and overheating issues. And Apple had to release 17.0.3 and 17.1 respectively in just a month. 😆

Latest news: This chip has a very strong GPU, its performance is the strongest on mobile platforms at present, and it can even compete with graphic card RTX1050ti.
