OUR STORY
Geckota was started by the company's managing director, Jonathan Quinn. Initially his vision was to sell watches and watch-straps to like-minded people who would share his enthusiasm for high-quality materials at honest and considered prices. It began as a hobby and an eBay account in the name of WatchGecko but the business has now grown into a thriving independent e-commerce company. We started developing products using the company's name in 2012 after a struggle to find more of the products that our customers were looking for.
Geckota continues to be a successful, ever-growing and dynamic company that believes in a progressive approach when designing, selling and marketing our pieces. We learn from every step taken and always design to our best capabilities, taking inspiration from the past and present to craft amazing products. The company has grown considerably from its early stages but has always had a diligent and pragmatic team that work together in harmony, sharing Jon's vision and work philosophies. Now with full control over design and materials, specifications, marketing and even despatch we can perfect every little detail and remain confident with our work.

Love these new 39mm versions. In fact, just picked one up in red! Thanks for designing something different and fun yet still tasteful. I’m a sucker for the 60’s and Art Deco styles and this mixes those perfectly without being gaudy. Bravo!
Well, it's a pleasure to have the watches introduced by their designer. I think I'm practically ready to add a Geckota to my collection.
You come up with some brilliant designs! I own one of the original G-01 Vintage Divers in the red.

39mm …. fantastic ✅✅✅✅✅
I think they look pretty good but I may wait for an automatic version. Can I suggest a 46mm lug to lug variant for the K-01 type B pilot's watch. Really becomes an issue when you've got a small wrist. Other than that It's the best value pilot watch I've seen for the price. Only other is the Laco Aachen but has a Miyota 821a which isn't anywhere near the ETA.

I love my 42mm G-01, and I'd love this one too, for its great case shape; size and quartz movement are also fine, but why why why no second hand? Makes the watch look dead.

I agree. Love the design, but pointless and baffling as to why the second hand was removed. The aesthetics aren’t minimalist so why eliminate an essential feature?
How can I get my hands on that ruby red G-01 ? I dont mind the 42mm and also the Night sky im very interested in. Both in automatic

I just recieved the Gold version with the red Honeycomb dial. The watch is beautiful and all and the straps are in superb quality. The downsides of the watch are, the dial looks very plasticy and the red makes it even more cheap looking, would have been better with brown or black i think. Its a shame because the rest of the watch looks like a high value object and I would gladly have paid another 100$ if the dial was made out of metal or other materials that are more high end.. The strap 120/80mm is to long for my 7 and 3 Quarters inch wrist when you change to your gold deployment clasp. I dont understand why most of your straps are to long for an average big wrist with the deployment clasps that you sell?
