Cole is just like "meh" and Marmalade is the WTF ARE THESE?

You guys do an amazing job with cats but no one can deny that Cole meeting Marmalade was absolutely precious when Cole gently put his paw on Marm's little head to pet him while Chris held Marm. It was, and will forever be, the sweetest 1st time meeting between a resident cat and kitten.

We introduced 2 kitten sisters to our adult cat, and it only took about 18 hours before she was giving the kittens baths and snuggling with them. But she was probably the sweetest cat I've ever met. So results definitely vary

Sounds like my late cat Romeo. He and his sister helped raise a kitten since he was 3 days old. When the kitten passed because of what we guess was birth defects Romeo sniffed him and try to crawl into the box to warm him up :'(. My heart broke even more since I was the kitten's human mom. He only lived two months. The vet said that he had must have been born with something wrong and that is why his birth mom who was a stray had abandoned him. Anyway, on to happier news. I am so happy that CAM and the kittens get along and even play some togrther

You guys are amazing with your cats! It's obvious that Cole and Marmalade are happy. (Not just in this video, but other videos as well) You guys do a fantastic job of showing how cats should be treated. Too often people don't treat them well, and it's nice seeing there are people that treat their cats respectfully and with love.

I find it hilarious that Cole is laying in front of the barrier all relaxed with the kittens in front of him and Marmalade is in the background. Shows Cole's been through introductions before from the "resident cat" perspective while Marmalade has only experienced it from the kittens' perspective.

Cole looks like " Oh come on, not again" and Marmalade like "they are everywhere! I'm surrounded!" 😁 They are all so sweet.

He's too wicked smart and super athletic to seem "Downs Syndrome-like" to me. But as the "Cooler" (Patrick Swayze) in the classic "B" movie, "Road House," said, "Opinions vary."

I bet Cole was like: " Please not this again, I already have marmalade to deal with"

Great advice. This should be required watching for anyone bringing home a new kitty. I love how Marmalade's face is in a constant state of shock and surprise.

we just placed the new kitten next to our cat and they were chill.. it just depends how ell you know your cat and it's temper

My biggest (not oldest, but largest) neutered tom recently snuck three feral kittens inside. No idea how they got inside, just know that Bubba (the tom) was being all protective and parental with them. Their mom wasn't caring for them, so.... I'm calling them "Bubba's babies", and their spay/neuter (when theyre old enough) is coming out of the big guy's grocery budget!

But theyre not his children! He has been fixed forever, and apparently just decided saving these feral kittens was his responsibility. So Bubba adopted them, brought them inside and presented them to the rest of the family. And now we have three more indoor cats. Of course I support all my cats' decisions and choices, so....... Yeah, three more indoor cats. But they sure are cute!

AnnBearForFreedom Good on you for taking on Bubba's new friends. You are clearly one of THOSE people that we need more of. I'm sure Bubba won't mind some of his food bill going to his mates. (My grocery bill would be halved if I didn't have one who doesn't care and the other who gets fed on demand every 4 hours with the best on offer or he'd rather starve). All worth it when they sloth all over you on the couch.

Marmalade always looks like he’s saying: “What the fluff?” And just overall confused. I personally find that hilarious.

Marmalade’s face is priceless. Every time he sees them he just doesn’t know what to do haha

Did you see his expression in the video where they first showed ZigZag? She had to live on the porch for awhile due to ringworm, and Marm was glued to the window wearing the biggest "da FUQ?!?!" expression ^pets him^ I feel like the poor guy still isn't sure what's going on...

So happy to still be able to see beautiful Cole. He is missed so much 😢

Marmalade just seems so chill about the kittens and then cole is a litte wary but warms up to them and loves them. The quortet seems so happy with each other

Catfish Cave As the representative of the food source federal agency, (FSFA), families with kittens get 35% more food, and 50% or higher for families with 2+ kittens. Marmalade will be getting the same amount, if not, more, and for Cole, ask Chris for the answer

Per Feline Law, he may actually end up getting more food. When the kittens are fed, it may become necessary to distract him by giving him a little extra while they are eating.

You've done it perfectly! I had my cat for seven years when I introduced a new cat. Both were seniors, 12 and 11, and it took a month to go through this process before we were sure they would get along! I understand a kitten would've probably been an easier choice for my first cat, but I couldn't resist this sweet boy I saw at a shelter. They coexisted, but it wasn't until the new cat became ill that my other cat really gave him attention. It was heartbreaking but wonderful to see 💓

Cole probably handled this song and dance much easier that Marm, since he’s been through it before. Also, Cole seems to have more of a head on his shoulders, while Marm seems like more of a goofball.

Finally someone on KZread NAILS IT on how to introduce cats. Well done

We got pretty lucky when we got our second cat Daisy. Our older cat Oliver was 2.5 years old when my sister's boyfriend texted us and asked if we were interested in a feral kitten that had been abandoned by her mother. We agreed right away. We determined she was about 2 weeks old. And he took to her immediately. It was instant love. I think he understood how small she was. He wasn't perfect. but he tried his best to be a parental figure to her. If she made it past the barrier and ran to the basement he would run after her and and meow until we came for her. 4 years later and they have and amazing bond. And Daisy has turned into the sweetest girl cat. I love them both so much.

When I got my first cat shadow she was always kind of mean but when she was around 1.5 yrs old we took in another cat my cousins brought cuz they couldn’t give him a home and my cat shadow took him as her own in 3-4 days and we got two more cats a year later and she was like a mom to all of them and they wouldn’t even challenge her for dominance either

My kitty is 8 months and my new kitty is 2 months I just introduced about a week ago. Lots of hissing. These are my first cats ever I am learning so much.

I am stunned at how Cole and Marm tok to those kitties?! I didn't hear one hiss?? It was almost like acceptance straight away! Cool cats!

Cole looks so cute. Like a big teddy. In front of the little ones. Marm looks confused. I love them all.

Best Monday EVER! Marm always delivers at least one expression of confusion per video. Cole is just a lover through and through. I'm sure the moments will come when he rolls Marm and the girls all at one playtime, but he's just an absolute sweetheart.

Awwww, I remember doing this with my two boys. I put the new kitten in my room for the night and they begged and cried all night to play with eachother, even pawing one another from underneath the door. By 2am I was so tired I just opened the door and fell back asleep. The next time I woke up, it was 5am, but it was to the most beautiful noise ever---my two kittens galloping and playing together around my home. I will never forget this. Best friends at first sight. They are now inseparable are definitely brothers from different mothers.

Bless Cole and marmalade. What good boys. Cole just looks like the big softy old daddy. What a lovely video. Hope the new kittens are enjoying their new family 😊

That fruit tart bed is almost as cute as your 4 kitties!

I recommend Feliway as well. We were on evacuation due to wildfires for a month and a half and during that time we had to drive several hours more than once and move between hotels. I had 3 cats in small hotel rooms for that entire time and the Feliway definitely helped. It calmed my high strung cat so well that she kept passing out face first into the bed.

The good thing is my cats love little kittens. Roxy acts like a momma cat and Negan is very laid back and loves the attention.

I swear, every video with Marm he has that WTF expression on his face! Cole seems perfectly chill with the whole thing. Glad I finally got to see the intros. I’ve been anxiously awaiting it! Love the new CAM JAZZ crew!

The kittens' fruit tart bed is adorable! I think bringing it to the resident cats while keeping then seperate, and then putting a barrier in front of the open door to the kittens' room would be all that's needed to introduce them. Having them eat side by side across the barrier would be good, too. The rest of the techniques shown just tell me CAM and the Kittens have great human servants!
