A while back, i think there was something pertaining to kneading, (making biscuits), Black Friday has kneaded my back only a couple times, and WOW, did that ever feel GOOD!! Even with his nice, sharp front claws, it still felt GOOD!! Nothing like having your own personal massuese, and the price.....some yummy cat treats! 😸❗

@@joemcdonald4654 ive had several "scratching posts", but mine still prefers my old beat up sofa to a nice expensive scratcher. He also has his "favorite place" to get comfy when i sit on it. That way he can lick my thumbs, and have me groom his forehead. He isnt lazy, just figured how to con me into doing that for him. 😹❗

@ The Purring Journal ……we have 2 cats brother and sister they’re lovely & bring us much joy. The male cat loves to scratch so he has 3 towers and 2 shallow boxes to go crazy on all day long!!! The female absolutely loves to cuddle with her human. She will lay on my lap and when I have to get up oh boy she gives me “THAT LOOK 👀”

You know what cats love? Being rescued out of a shelter. My son and I regularly adopt older cats that nobody wants. And we give them the life and they know. Very satisfying

Thank you! Because I already had two cats in a studio apartment, I had to bring my mom’s kitties to a shelter when she could longer take care of them. I sobbed for days and felt like a 💩 but I found out they were adopted a few weeks later and I so thank those people who took in her “babies”…one of the hardest things I’ve ever done…and I’ve done some challenging stuff. Good luck CoCo and Mimi with your new lives. You were so loved.

Kind of but not rlly bc sometimes they are worried if they used to be abused.

I used to be a dog person until I got my first cat. Unlike a dog, you gotta earn a cats trust and respect. But that's how I am too. And once a cat has chosen you, their intelligence and loyalty is second to none. More than once my cat woke me up when someone was lurking outside my window of the motorhome we live in. Cats are amazing.

My cat loves to sleep a lot. Also he loves to eat a lot. And he loves to lay on me when I am laying down somewhere. He also loves to lick my hands (which feels awesome btw) and my face (not so much) He also loves any attention he can get. Also he loves watching outside even if there isn't much to see. I love my cat :)

😎Wonderful!! Woo Hoo! Cats (Masters) figured out us, the Human Bozos (HBs), THOUSANDS of years ago. So on Father's Day and Juneteenth -- but sadly well before dawn & and as commanded, my 6 Masters have been greeted, praised, scritched in ALL the right spots 👍🏾 and appeased with all the immediate necessary necessaries. We effectively check off all the boxes. But, God forbid...if a too-sleepy HB makes an 'oops, my bad? Well, they might suffer the penalty of all penalties -- being shunned -- that's a total fur-day of reflective guilt right there. 😩 Now this still too sleepy HB is sitting here finally with a cuppa coffee, listening to Tom Petty (RIP), and staring at my iPad. One of my cats absolutely loves Beethoven!!! Ever since she was a kitten! She gets right in front of the speaker and stares at it almost like she's perplexed. It makes sense too, those composers used to take their inspiration for the music from all the sounds in nature, if you listen closely enough you can even hear the birds and the emotions in the pieces, it's actually quite impressive.

From my past experience, 🐱 are not just fascinated with classical music, but also with various sounds-- provided that it isn't very loud. 🐱 would get curious and wonder, "hey, what's that?" Quite touching too.

I leave classical music on for my cat when I'm at work, and I think he likes the quiet white noise since my roommate says he just sleeps under my covers until I get home.

@@chlorophil545 it also could be that he is hiding where he feels comfy, with your scent on the covers. My cat usually sleeps near my feet, but if he feels uneasy about things outside, he will sleep next to my head, for his protection. (But a few mornings ago, he scarfed up hairballs just inches from my head...........ugh! What a nice wake-up call!)

My cat is enjoying the sunny windowsill today. I'm in Seattle WA. 56 and sunny today. Feels so nice since the cold rainy winter.

So glad to learn that wanting “fresh” food is a normal thing as is a routine …

I have a cat who will ONLY drink out of the faucet.. she even won't use fountain waterers .. so that means that when she wants a drink and that is several times a day or more, she comes and finds me and will herd me to the nearest sink so she can get a drink, and then I stand there like her good little servant for however many minutes she decides she wants to sit there and drink/play in the water. Our cats have us well trained 😂

Every cat I've had liked smooth jazz music.

My cat Tiger-J likes to be given fresh food every day, and he is a chow cat; I mean he really eats like crazy. He also likes to sit at my feet. He's my furry prince.

There's nothing like the sound of a cat purring.

My cat definitely loves me as I love him. I have all day, almost every day to spend time with him. He has some time to himself. I have some time to myself. And a fair amount of time is spent together. He also sleeps on the be with me. He'll lay on my lap when I'm at the computer or on occasion when I'm chilling on a chair outdoors. He is awesome and has helped me through my miserable life.

My boy loves being brushed. He'll go and try to grab it with his mouth lol but it's to slippery so he just lays on it hoping I'll see him , so cute lol

If I brush my hair around my bf's cat she will wake up out of a sound sleep and start demanding to be brushed. I taught her a while back to tap a laser pointer when she wanted to play, she's extrapolated from that to tap anything she wants.

We're going through a whole new learning process. Our much-loved cat passed away in November after being part of our lives for 14 years. We took a break for a few months, and now we have Eddie. When we went to adopt, I enforced a few basic ground rules, and almost fell over when my wife accepted them. I told her that I didn't want a kitten, but a cat that most people would look past. Eddie is 11-years-old, and his previous owners had to surrender him. We're learning what he does and doesn't like. While he shares some similarities with his predecessor, there are plenty of differences to get used to.

Awww! Thank you for taking in an older surrender! They are usually the last to get adopted - everyone wants a kitten. :( I got my Kyla from the shelter - she was a family surrender after the owner passed. Not only was she older (8 years) but she was very shy which is a double-whammy. But she's the PERFECT cat - well behaved, affectionate - no trouble at all. I wish more people would give the older, and shy cats a chance. They still have love to give.

Madam was laying on the bed getting pats and tickles then noticed the telly with all other cats on it and off she went to investigate and at a couple stages stretched up onto the screen. She is a rescued cat and is so loving in her nature and wanted to make sure her feline friends were ok.

My cat naps around 18 hours a day on a heated water bed. Wake up time is at exactly 730a.m & bedtime is at exactly 8p.m. & he makes sure he taps me & gives me boops to tell me it's breakfast time or hey mom, it's 8 o'clock, let's go to bed

my second cat would camly wait every morning for me to properly wake up, then snuggle with me for an hour, and then it was time to get up and get breakfast. I usually woke up at the same time in the morning. And when it was bedtime (also usually at the same time in the evening), I would say: bedtime, amanda! And she would race in to the bed room full of joy. Them we would snuggle untill I dozed off. she would then spend the night in my travelling bag, nicely tucked in in the small pocket in the end of the bag, where I kept my changing clothes. (the main room of my bag was reserved for my pikachu jumbo plush, without whom I can't sleep).

I got my cat a fountain, but she hated the sound of the motor.

Im constantly washing cat dishes. We have 2 cats. Both of them have to eat out of clean dishes. Ive figured out how much to give them and have them on a schedule. They get clean plates and bowls every time!

I am learning so much from your vids. My granddaughter over the years rescued two cats. The first cat was rescued under a house without a mother and is the epitome of scardi-cat. Then the other was abandoned outside her apartment and she picked her up. We all lived together for awhile and as my granddaughter left again I became a cat pet parent for the first time. Thanks for helping me!

My late kitty Magnolia always loved to be petted while she was eating! Most cats want to be left alone while they sup, but Magnolia would eat while I stroked her, and if I stopped stroking her, she'd look up and ask me "Why did you stop?"

We have a grey bob tailed stray cat that hangs around my apartment building (along with 3 otehr strays) and whenever he hears my voice he comes running flops over and demands belly rubs. its so cute!

We had at cat living at my apartment block. really cute and cuddly. imagine that someboyd had the heart to through her out. I got the idea to give her a wage increase, by buying her wet food. she was fed at a least 3 places in the area, and each place, several people would feed her. She was really thankfull of the wage increase, and allways came running with cutest gauge possible, when I asked her if the wanted som wet food.

My cat forces me to play with him, multiple times a day. He's 19 months old....& at times he's just like a hooman toddler (pain-in-the-arse!). But, ya gotta love the kitty!

I always put very zen- like, new age music on the car stereo when we are driving to and from the vet in hopes of keeping them chilled out! It always seems to work. Three of them LOVE watching TV, they actually jump up at the screen trying to catch a bird or squirrel!! It is so much fun to watch them! So we will be looking forward to your new CAT TV channel!!😻❤

My cat spends about 1/2 hour every day just sitting on my lap. He just wants to be with me. I can be watching TV, playing on the computer, reading a book, etc. He just loves resting on my lap every day as a way to say "good morning". I think he feels safe, happy, and relieved that I was not dead in bed, only sleeping, heheh.

I have a Maine Coon tabby mix, and she loves the table in front of the livingroom window. There are lots of birds in the tree. Even dove will land on the ledge. She will chatter up a storm. Blue Jays and Cardinals will tease her, and peck at the glass.

My cats also loved fresh cat grass, a clean litter box, examining what I brought home from the grocery store, and laying on my expensive silk underlined jacket.

Yes, I Love to watch my Chloe stick her head all up in each bag I bring home from the grocery store,...... I try and pick up an extra temptations treat, or small can of her favorite food each time, She loves it, and I enjoy watching her be so happy...Then rubbing her cheek on it when she finds something thats hers. Love our fur babies 💘

A dry cat food diet helps cats live longer. About yours eating berries.....I'll let my Mookie try them. She enjoys eating garbonzo beans after she plays with them. She also eats corn, a few tiny pieces of bacon, a piece or two of a corn tortilla and a few bites of dry oatmeal. Think she's trying to go vegetarian 😄

My third and present cat refuses canned food, and only eats dry, no matter the brand, but I feed her a quality food. She also has to be in the mood to even eat dried catnip, she refuses fresh catnip. One strange cat I have. Plus she loves to get my attention with love licks then bites.

My little one will only eat dry food no canned or people food. Some people call them kind a miracle cat as I had some that would go on strike if they didn`t hear a new can be opened for every feeding. Plus we had a Vet that would ask us every visit if we feed them canned and then would drill us for giving them canned food saying it was bad for them.

Thx for this video I showed my mom this and with it convinced her to get a cat tree for my cats😁

Thanks for this. We have always owned dogs but found a very sick tiny kitten about a month and a half ago. We couldn’t just let it die so we nursed it back to a healthy kitten and she now lives with us. (We looked for someone to adopt it while nursing it but have since stopped so we will keep her). Needless to say I think this channel will be extremely helpful. I must say it is CRAZY the amount of sleep they average per day.

I'll enjoy watching cat TV as well 😻 I usually have on the nature channel and sometimes my cat will watch when birds come on 🐦🦜

Sleeping is the only thing my cat and me both wanna do 24/7

I have a book with recipes for fresh, healthy cat treats. I also used to make little stuffed felt fish and other types of animals. I would put in some cat nip and sew an elastic string on to them and do cat fishing,lol! They loved it! I had a kitty once when I was younger that loved laying in the window seal and listening to the buzzing bees outside collecting pollen ^_^ it was cute.

My gentle giant will only eat dry cat food. No human food except the juice from tuna lol he doesn't like the actual tuna I think bc of texture. I found this out when I ran out of dry cat food and gave him some canned tuna. He only drank the juice. If I get him wet food ,he will lick the gravy off and leave the food. So that is just a treat now.

Our two girls prefer dry food as well, so at least we get them a higher quality of dry food. We avoid Purina products. But the cat in my profile pic is Cali, and she is a real hunter. She will eat the occasional smaller animal which is healthy for cats. Raw meat with various organs are what they are supposed to eat.

@@tonyprice2256 I do as well. Although both my kids lol are crazy for Temptations guns treats. They are magic and I haven't figured out exactly what it is they have in them.that makes them act goofy. I mean, if I want some love that's the way to get it fast😸but I do keep the treats for good behavior.

My kitty onced groomed me once. He licked my head & oh my goodness it was relaxing.

One of my cats absolutely LUVVVVED going for a "ride" on an old office chair! She would hold on to the seat and I would spin it 'round and 'round! And she NEVER got dizzy! (If she did, she sure was able to hide it!) She (and her kids, too, actually) also LUVVVVED a vibrator! I got it for muscle spasms in my back, but I hardly got to use it! As soon as I turned it on, they came a-running! One kept trying to BITE it, which only made his teeth rattle! His mama (The one above with the office chair habit!) would press her little head against it so hard I was actually afraid her brain would shake loose! But no harm was done! 😸

my cat loves to sleep in my lap for hours on end. lol then she gets up to eat fresh food and comes back into my lap as i am on my computer for work all day lol

We have 8 cats in the house - a large dog who was rescued out of the Desert here in SW Arizona when he was 10 months old (this area seems to be a dumping ground for people to leave cats and dogs). To the point - we also have a black feral (or stray) cat who is not neutered (we will TNR him soon) - he showed up the end of September 2021 & comes for meals. Only a month ago he started letting me pet him - note only when we have a food dish for him. Question: Sometimes when petting him he bats at me & once in a while hisses but the hissing has diminished. I do not understand WHY he bats at me - I feed him, there is always water on the deck & I do not pet areas he forbids - so why the bats? He does love to be petted & sometimes when time permits I sit on the chair & talk to him while he is eating. When done eating he comes to me for more pets. He does like climbing the tree next to the roof & get on the roof. When he is done eating & has had enough pets he goes away - at dusk he goes outside the fence which concerns me because we have Coyotes who move from the front yard to the back of our fenced in backyard. Sometimes he is just gone sometimes for a day & night sometimes for 2 days (I figure he is looking for females). But just when we think we will not ever see him again he comes meowing for food & now pets. Just do not understand the batting. Judi

The batting and hissing are both "Stay away" warnings. But in the case of your stray, he does those things when an involuntary REFLEX gets accidentally triggered. Maybe he catches a glimpse of your hand, (or shirt sleeve, wristwatch, ring, or nail polish) out of the corner of his eye, and that quick flash of something he didn't immediately recognize releases his REFLEX to warn a strange thing to "Keep away from me!" You don't have to do anything special when this happens. The cat himself immediately recognizes that he batted (or hissed) at nothing but the cuff of your shirt, and he rapidly forgets all about it. You can stop petting him for a second until he can calm his reflexes, but then go right back to petting him. You're a good person to be helping this poor lost little creature.

You sound very kind but really one should only have as many cats as there are laps in the house. If there are 8 people - that's fine! One person for each cat...

All the cats I had . All that I had . Loved boundaries. I gave them love and pets . When they want them . And when I pet them and they wanted to be left alone . I respected them

Our Stephany demanded her meals with the accuracy of an English Lady,lol.I'll never forget how we used to play together,she loved to keep herself warm lying on our old Panasonic TV 📺 set,sometimes flew out of the wardrobe ,just when I was meeting my bf,very hilarious 😂. I will never forget her tricks ,that I miss so much right now.She used to sing along to the song "Only happy when it rains" by Garbage. 🤷‍♀️it was her favorite tune.

One of my cats loves melodic hard rock. Go figure.

My cats like Christian Pop and.....Eminem! Oh wait, maybe that's just me? Lol they don't care cuz I play such a variety. :-)

I have a cat water fountain which Whingy Arse used to use quite happily. Now though, she rarely uses it preferring to drink from the tap, just after I've sat down elsewhere.

You've forgotten about catnip, which most cats really love! Just saying!

@@malissahyatt2425 When I give my cats catnip, I have to make 3 different "lines" of it on the floor for all 3 of them and it affects each one differently! Rhubarb, who normally is the sweetest, most loving kitty I've ever had, will turn into the grumpiest BULLY of a tomcat I've ever seen! He'll get stoned on it, then attack his mother and sister! Sister Jasmine rolls in it! And mama Teena will eat her share then go take a nap!

I didn't get a pet fountain until I inherited a diabetic cat, since I wanted to encourage her to drink more water. Now I have 3, two of which are only accessible to my 5 indoor cats, and one they share with my pit bull. I have one cat who is practically glued to my side at all times and another who only wants pet when she's in the mood, otherwise she'll just dodge your hand. Though oddly she insists anyone who enters must greet her with a quick pet. To facilitate this she hangs out on the top of the bookshelf next to the door. All of my Amazon boxes stay around for at least a week so the cats can s!keep in them, play in them, and eventually rip them to shreds sharpening their claws on them. I have two outdoor cats, though them being outdoors wasn't really my preference. But the pair are escape artists and the last time I tried bringing them in they almost immediately escaped again and avoided me like the plague for over a month.

Hmmmmmm, wellllll, several things Black Friday doesnt fit in with here............but the grooming............he licks my thumb so I can rub his forehead with it! See how cats con their humans into doing their behaviors!! And all the while, that purry motor is going full blast, all i have to do is only touch him, and purrrrrrr. Wish my car, mower, and other stuff were like that.

I'm from Houston, TX and we have a type of Hip-hop style called Chopped & Screwed. It's slow, dark funky kind of music. Every time I would put it on I would listen to it kinda low and my cat Tommy would always jump on my desk by the speaker and just lay there and listen.

my pretty kitty ellie loves to be pet and loves to lay on my lap that basicly makes her purr when shes with me

The most recent thing my cat loves is three thing’s number one sleeping, number two,playing with me,and number three being petting . And the most best is everytime when I pet my cat when she’s eating she purrs❤😂

The feeding, treats, and cleaning of the litter box!

Oh, I have most definitely noticed most of these, especially the warm spot one! Ours, when not basking in the UK sun filtering through the window, used to curl up on the NTL box! The whole spot was absolutely covered in cat hairs! Even worse in Spring and Summer!

Mt cats like to get on my bed where the sub shines in my room and sleep most of the day

Every day should be International Cat Day!

i had a cat and I loved sleeping and snuggling with my cat

My little girl absolutely LOVES boxes!!!!! She loves shredding boxes!!!!!!! She will hold them down with her body and front legs and bite and shred the box into hundreds or pieces all over the house!!!!!! I could vacuum every day and that would not be enough so I vacuum on the weekend and rotate boxes every couple months..... Funny thing is it all started with the box to the vacuum I had just bought a week before I found her abandoned at the gas station and rescued her!!!!!!!

One more point. My cat loves his routine. And we make sure we stick to it, especially during mealtime.

My cat sleeps with me also, I got her a very high cat tree she doesn't go on I but my cat likes staying cool so I always keep a window open for her
