Love these videos... The actually call it the race track because of the " racing rocks" The race when in the winter it rains, freezes over and the rocks get blown over the racetrack.

Another great video. I find that when travelling in a convoy to leave a 'dust gap' of thirty seconds or so. Much less wear and tear on the following vehicles sucking in dust. Helps with visibility too and helps not rear ending the lead vehicle and can act as a 'scout' and radio back if there's traffic.

Great video! I made a good decision to subscribe to your channel a year ago! It definitely reminds me of the old discovery channel! traveling the country and exploring different sites as you travel. What makes it better is its a family affair! It would be wrong to think sibling rivalry doesn't go on , but the fact you've held together as a family unit is awesome and really makes this adventure something even Disney could not pull off! Congratulations for doing this channel and you have me as a permanent and loyal subscriber! Rick From Virginia

Just did 4 days,3 nights, 200 miles there. Magical place. The playa is called the racetrack because of the linear tracks the sailing stones make. Not because it looks like a racetrack from space. Not sure where that came from

I’m having a hard time coming up with words to describe my reaction to your videos. Epic, awesome, extraordinary, incredible are words that come to mind, but also seem to be possibly used too often. So, I’m keeping it simple. Your video shots are appealing. Your music selection and the balance with live sounds is spot on. Caroline, your narrations are nothing short of exceptional and professional. Your editing is seamless. Your story telling is captivating. Keep on keepin’ on. 👍

been thru Titus Canyon, pretty easy, i think the Racetrack is tougher on vehicles, it just wears you down, same w/ Saline valley, just bumpy, not much terrain... but Lippencott mine & Steel Pass is a tough one. and the road to where the Manson Family hideout was. i went alone so i was nervous since no backup available. pretty much childs play in a jeep, mine's a 2001 F150 4wd. 8'-0" bed, single cab & low profile shell...good to sleep in as I'm , 6'-8"...i used to raise Shorthairs too...no better dog.

Even before I saw one of you draw a smiley face in dust inside the car, shortly after the video began, I wondered how long does it take to clean your vehicles and gear after an excursion? How do you get all of that dust out of the interior? Gads! Is there a method to your clean up tasks? After leaving Death Valley, do you head to a national park and use their showers or to a nice motel/hotel/Airbnb and take long hot showers?

Nice , I love Death valley but I learned something on my first time there , always have enough gas in your vehicle to get back to a real city without buying gas in Death Valley , it is without a doubt the most expensive gas in the country bar none . You didn't go to the castle ? I guess it is a bit of a tourist trap but it's still pretty cool . I'm not sure the dunes there are the biggest in the country though if you go southeast about a mile from the Plank road monument (off I-8 east of El Centro about 30 miles or so ) there are some really big dunes the biggest one has a hill climb side nick named Oldsmobile hill but back when I was riding there you needed a really strong dune buggy or 3Wheeler to make it to the top and coming down that thing was kinda crazy . I could get up it with my 250R but barely and back then I only weighed in at 135lbs and my bike was not stock , most of my friends couldn't make it up , that hill is crazy huge . I look forward to watching the next video , playing catchup right now as I'm a pretty new subscriber .

Great Video! When we tried to drive Lippencott road (in our swiss jeep) in september 2019 a stuck pickup truck with normal street tires was blocking the road for a whole week! We then used the route over hunter mountains - which was wonderful as well. Did you visit the hot spring in saline valley? Its great :-)

Was there a Season 6 Episode 29, a continuation of Death Valley, as we can’t find it? Trying to watch each episode as we love you guys and your amazing lives and travels!! Take care, stay safe and know that us guys here in Australia think you are pretty cool!! Di and Max ( couple of 66 year olds who love our 2008 Jeep Wrangler)

It's also called the race track because of the rocks that seem to "race" or move on their own across the ground and leave tracks in the dirt.

Love the adventures!! Keep up the great work! Always wondered, what size fridges do you use and how long do you go between restocks?

Hi there. Glad you’re enjoying the adventure. Both fridges are 40 L and we can carry enough refrigerated food for a week and a half to two weeks. We have lots of dry goods as well that don’t need to be refrigerated. We typically go grocery shopping as we are passing through a town. Maybe once a week. 👍🏻
