Ya'll are so awesome. Caroline, that little piece you shot was epic. Really nice film making. As a father of 17 year old daughter, I know how proud your parents of are you and your talents. As a whole, you guys have really mastered the story telling and real life feel of the trips. I also know how much goes on behind the scenes to get each of those shots as I too play around a little with editing with my daughters sports and cheerleading competitions. Great job. I often tear up watching you all. In this crazy world, it's a blessing to watch great family togetherness. Humbling moments. God bless you guys.

I know this is several months old. Missed it when it was new. That zuccini lasagna looks great & parchment paper in dutch oven is an ingenious idea! Love the video section with no music or commentary...reflects the true peacefulness of the moment. May God keep you safe in your travels.

You guys are in my old dirt bike area. Our motocross team out of George AFB (now closed) used to take our bikes up to Lone Pine, eat breakfast at our favorite restaurant then hit the trails either in the Alabama Hills or on a private property near Mammoth. If you like to fish, June Lake Loop has some awesome trout lakes. That gorgeous view at 1:33 is etched into my memory bank. The backpacking trails offer many spectacular views.

I've been to the Alabama Hills so many times in April & May and never seen the snow pack on the high Sierras so thin and vanishing like your video shows! Crazy!!!

Loved loved loved the second half of this video. The quiet morning sequences (Caroline; Pete & Lando; Caroline & Lando). Hope you took a still shot of the silhouette of Pete & Lando up on the rocks in the morning light... to print and hand on your walls if you ever have walls!! That lasagna looked amazing... and now I'm off Googling trying to find a cheese grater like that!

Before Patty got sick and our camping trips pretty much stopped, I would cook entire meals in dutch ovens. Main course, breads and desserts. That zucchini looked so good. I was just down there last week Climbing Mt Whitney! Sadly I had a rental car and was stuck wishing I had my rig with me. Such an awesome area!

Awesome! But take this advice from me(@9:51) , any time you want to wear your shoes back especially in the morning in the desert make sure you check it as the chance is great that a snake, scorpion or any desert insect is hiding in it
