One of my two biggest influences to pick up guitar seriously and learn 36 years ago,....Demartini and Lynch. George is still rolling but I hate seeing and hearing his hand atrophy cripple his playing...He can still play well but his hand issue has hurt his playing...It is a painful irony. @@timothyireson1076 Thanks for the link. George sounds really sharp right there....the entire band was great really. Yep, Lynch and Warren D just had more swagger to their sound than bands like Iron Maiden, ect. They sounded less like noodling even with their faster passages. It sure does take some getting use to after his years of really cool and 80's trending hairstyles... lol. Niw he's mellowed out in both his looks and his playing but he really still can kick out those old tunes but at a sneakier level. It's all a sign of age and admitting to it. He still had dark brown hair for his 64th birthday show. I went to it in Detroit. I wonder if he actually dyed it grey. There's no way it can grow in grey that much in just 1 year. I think it's just his new image. That's what it is. You can't be young forever. One day you must accept the fact and ti still remain comfortable with who you are and who you've turned out to be after life finally gets a hold of you. Btw... I'm not supporting his man bun either.... but I have longer hair now and also the it back sometimes too. It's probably hiding his bald spot the same way it hides mine rather than a combover that older men used to do like my grandfathers on both sides of my family. There is always a reason why someone does something, but you sometimes don't need to know why, nor should you even ask.... just sayin'. Lol

One of my two biggest influences to pick up guitar seriously and learn 36 years ago,....Demartini and Lynch. George is still rolling but I hate seeing and hearing his hand atrophy cripple his playing...He can still play well but his hand issue has hurt his playing...It is a painful irony. He was one of the greatest ever in the rock/metal music of the early 80s to early 90s.

Those were my 2 biggest influences as well while all others liked Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. I was the outcast in my school to like Dokken and Ratt. @@timothyireson1076 Thanks for the link. George sounds really sharp right there....the entire band was great really. Yep, Lynch and Warren D just had more swagger to their sound than bands like Iron Maiden, ect. They sounded less like noodling even with their faster passages. Phrasing, vibrato and purposeful type of playing..Some of the stuff both played had a cool dissonance to it....Oh and better riffs too. Thanks man !

Lol
