I can't believe those rascals went in the bag "stealing ".. That's a hard one. You want to be friendly and not shoo them away but also letting them kinda teaches to get away stealing from the humans belongings. Thank god we don't see that here with these monkeys like in other locations except the ones of course that are near the road where the bus stop is located where Arroz films from time to time. I remember a video he posted there where he mentioned that it's common that they can be nasty towards the humans and if given a chance they may and will steal from the humans. Not cool at all in my book. They learn very quickly especially with what they can get away with "especially" if it has to do with food. I can't even imagine being either a local of a area where I'm out and about And happen to run into wild monkeys and or if I was visiting touring the beautiful scenery etc. and wild monkeys are scoping me out waiting for me to either drop my bag low enough, turn my back, or even run up to me snatching whatever they wanted. Oh NO! Like it was mentioned in that other video, that's why it's common we hear that some locals/humans automatically hate monkeys in general (because of the sneaky ruthless ones).... I watch videos over at the Snow monkey park in Japan and supposedly it's said that in all the years they have been open for tourist to visit where they walk around the monkeys freely because they are not aloud to feed them handouts, touch them, etc. and they have never had one attack on humans. They are actually too scared to steal or interact too closely with the humans. That amazes me at times when I think about it knowing they are around humans every single day but yet, they are still that 'Leary" of humans to cross that line. I honestly feel when monkeys are handed handouts in general (not meaning that I disagree with it entirely just saying FYI) it then somehow teaches them to take more risks by stealing from humans in general and in some cases where they will even attack or do whatever they want/have to, to get what they want!

I think you are correct. Monkeys are made bold and sneaky by how people feed and tease them for fun. But they are also genuinely curious creatures too and it's not uncommon that people who left their cars in the car park only to come back to find them in ruins ! So my advice is never leave your belongings unattended there !

*Last I checked he (copycat) had less than 100 subscribers so that is an easy way to tell them apart. The real one has 76 k subscribers.*
