Yay!! My fave Mum is preggers! Fingers crossed for a healthy pregnancy and birth! What a wonderful family to be born into! You are SO lucky to be part of their family....and we can clearly see that they have accepted you as one of theirs! (And The whole troop for that matter!) They say animals instinctively know good (or bad) people when they encounter them. I think their behavior around you says a lot Arroz. It takes a lot of hard work and funds to bring us these videos, and educate us the way you do, without having to trick them or overfeed them or do the things people say those other Cambodia guys do, so while we thank you, I’m sure if they had the ability, they would thank you too, for bringing awareness to a region and a species many of us might otherwise never have encountered. While Dopey fueled your passion for filming these amazing creatures, your videos (and CR3 & Ibosch) have definitely led to fueling my “passion” (my family teases me it’s more like obsession!) for wanting to watch & learn about our friends in Monkey Hill and elsewhere! It's not his voice. It's a voice modulator. You can tell by the certain inflections and tones. Humans don't talk like that.

Yes indeed, they are part of your family. I recall you helping Miss Reddy with sweet potatoes when Dopey was so tiny, and you were concerned for him and Reddy. She has that pregnant waddle! Sally too! Dolly will go first I'll bet. Wonder if she will continue with her run of boys? Thank you for all the joy you have brought all of us. It was just a fluke stumbling upon your work. Those depressing Angkor videos, and then there was tiny baby Dopey and Reddy! Bossy and Bossy Jr., Gypsy and Knotty, Sally and Spunky, Dolly and Baty. Love them all, too many to name. Like a breath of fresh air, it was wonderful to find wild monkey videos that were not exploitative. St. Francis' disciple, health and happiness to you♡ ;)

I do wish Hong Kong would plant a lot of fruit trees and maybe so other foods that grow in the wild, they can eat. I am sure volunteers would donate and replant young adult trees, so that they would not have to wait long for the harvest. Other natural food could be planted in the shrubs around the roadside for them. I hate the idea of anything being hungry.

nobody Uknow The authorities claims have done that. It's up to you if you want to believe it. "Authorities also planted 200,000 fruit trees in monkey habitats in the early 2000s to increase their dependency on natural food sources"

@@ML_SE Right.....Now if that was true - did they bother to make sure they grew or that people didn't take the fruit - IF they did. They might tell the people where for we could see for ourselves, huh? As I said, just allow volunteers to do it at their own time and trouble. Far enough away from the roads that tourists don't help themselves to the monkeys supply. People care enough to volunteer to feed them, there would be volunteers to donate and plant trees.

I think that if you think she is pregnant then she is pregnant. She does look a little fuller. I know we shouldn't give them human emotions but she looked a little pensive when she was sitting there by herself. I hope she has another little Dopey.

Yeah her tummy is getting big and round looking. Dopey is so many different shades of tan. Always enjoyed watching this little guy since he tried walking with his huge feet and his tiny little body. :)

Reddy is either pretty far along in a pregnancy or has developed a fat growing tumor, but if it was a tumor you would see other signs such as her not eating, not moving much, sleeping a lot and perhaps being in pain - so I will go with your guess and say pregnant. It also does not look like it will be long before we know if its a girl or boy. They will make a cute family of 4 :)

I agree she may be pregnant. Is her oldest son Bobby still around? Reddy can handle a new baby.

I do consider them as my extended family because of Dopey whom I really Love so very dearly,he is a grown up handsome monkey now , but still so cute and adorable.

Dimpy has really turned into a great little Monkey. She's sweet but if there were to be trouble about the family she'd be the first one to come sort it out. Before her brother even. "Alright, who do I need to punch first?" She will be a fantastic big sister and dote on her Mom and Baby.

I haven't visited in months. I saw something come up about Reddy, who I love! Question for anyone who sees this - is the voice narrating this video - Arron's or a computer voice, or colleague? Thank you in advance. Cheers! So awesome to see Reddy. I won't spoil the video, but this is something to look forward to. Reddy has been my favorite primate, since Dopey was a wee baby, and Reddy had to fight off her sister for taking Dopey, and troupe leader, I forget her name, who would always kidnap him.

What is the deal with Reddy's left teat. Anyone know if she never produced milk from that one, or her babies just never used it because of it's slow milk flow which it is why it's smaller. I never saw any of her babies nurse on that one. It must be very rare to only produce milk from one teat. Thanks.

Without access to peers and play, they don’t develop the skill and it impacts on their success as adult to mate. So, they are practicing.

I believe the mounting posture is a form of communication for them. Humans want to automatically think its a reproductive act or all about dominance. I have noticed some differences in their mounting positions and actions which have brought me to this conclusion but I have not done any research on it.

They walk more like a,pigtail with their Butta in the air and more graceful then the ltm. .also..they have more human like features then the ltm.too..their backs aren't so hunched over like how a rat looks like the ltm again
