2 days ago I got my personal best at an inlet to a back bay. 2hr window before the tide change 4 days before the new moon. On dead eel. I noticed it when I logged it. It wasn't planned because of life I can only fish when I can but thank you for the info.

When I was younger I use to scoff at guys using 80lbs braid and 100lbs leader. There I was with my Pflueger combo and 20lbs braid and 40lbs leader losing "trophy" size Snook. 🤦🏼♂️ I've grown up since then! Good shit here man!

This is my favorite video that gets me worked up because back in August 17th i caught a fish of a life time 50.1 pound striper on 5 days before super moon 3 hours after dead high tide with 30 pound braid and 60 pound fluorocarbon shock at 4:30 Am. The fish took my line out to atleast 100 yards on the first run and the rod was just bent like a boomerang, the battle lasted well over 15 minutes but i was fishing very aggressively.
