He passed away 3 months back and buried in Gampola Sri Lanka but not a single TV channel mentioned his passing. They probably don't even know this, what a shame..

@chanakaZk I'm a Sri Lankan too. And I'm very much ashamed of the people who are in charge of this country. Has no respect for people with talent. All on the driving seats are jokers with no ability. It's a shame that lot of Sri Lankans even don't know who this great man was. One of the greatest global entertainers ever and yet unknown for the Sri lankans. This explains the pathetic situation of this country.

Yes, that's the Sri Lankan accent, sounds similar to the Indian accent, except it's sounds more nasal.

The way he portrayed Ranjeet in MYL is just amazing and my favourite quote from him is "a thousand apologies"

Moses was my neighbour when I lived in Gampola Proud to know he made a mark forhimsel but went unhonoured at the end of a life which gave us hours of laughter in mind your language Bless the souls of those who’ve gone

Anjan , my kids are very young . We were watching this show over the winter holidays . Today as I picked them up they keep repeating “ a thousand apologies “ which brought smile on our faces over and over . That show never gets old .

His voice were never changing... a thousand apologize...

Watching in 2021. KZread recommended this video after 6 years that's not fair at all. While watching 'mind your language' I always feel to be present in your class. Awesome experience, I now remember most of the sentences from almost all the characters. I love watching everyday. Thnks for making this life a bit more. You will be remembered.

I watched Mind Your Language when I was a kid and loved it . Watching clips decades later on KZread I love it even more .All the cast and production including the writers made the show . Mind your language is timeless and legend.
