Hersi harvey Only Geoffrey Davies (Stuart-Clark) and George Layton (Collier) are the only ones left. Just recently started watching this great series. I only wish that Barry Evans stayed on for the succeeding series after Doctor at Large

I was a teenager watching these shows. Now in my 60's. I love them all. Doctor in the house, at sea ... my favorite was when he answered the phone in his voo-doo Halloween character. Scaring the person who called.

Barry Evans is really, really good here, the whole cast were and the writing was spot on (John Cleese on the writing team?). Evans apparently regretted turning down a second series and Nedwell regretted being typecast afterwards - both died way too young.

He was very young n innocent. Very sad for him
