These two gave me some of the biggest laughs of my childhood and teenage years - I will always be a Hale & Pace fan!

Hale & pace i believe met @ teacher training college they were sports masters they obviously had some chemistry between between them i don't know exactly how they got their big break but they got their own series sketch show on a Sunday night millions tuned in 1980s & 1990s ran for a number of years were only had 4 channels back in those days,they seemed to go out of favour but cropped up both in an episode of benidom comedy tv series.thinking back most of their sketches we're amusing but some gave you proper belly laughs they weren't quite laurel&hardy they didn't need to fall over,they've brought back happy memories I'm quite invested in them.well found alan..

If you can find a decent quality upload of it, I would definitely recommend their version of The William Tell Overture. I also recommend their take on insanely catchy Europop tunes. It's called Never Gonna Get This Song Out Of Your Head. It was indeed stuck in my head for decades before someone finally uploaded it to KZread. 🤣

FYI I live in Scotland - Edinburgh - and today, the 9th of July - it's freezing! Ah, Embra in the summer 😅

Alan I loved hale& pace back in the day,they weren't a patch on two Ronnie's or morecambe wise some said they were puerile but I loved them I don't remember ever seeing this clip.ive only too look @ these two & I laugh, I remember once seeing them straight acting seriously in a tv show it wasn't meant to be funny but I was just drawn to them I had a pernament smile on my face,if I thought about it I could recommend recommend you to watch 40 odd of there best clips.,the drug song,the man who couldn't stop laughing, fly Yorkshire Airlines, many many more glad you covered these two Alan,don't forget tommy coopers clip of producing bottle after bottle after bottle of wine very clever should get you many views..

Hi E.B., thanks for this, I somehow missed this when it aired. Have you ever reacted to their children`s presenters (Billy & Johnny), if not you should. They did several different sketches with them. Also, the Two Ron`s (the Management), a parody of the notorious `60`s London Gangsters the Kray Twins.

I feel its a wee shame for Hale and Pace. They where at one point HUGE. I mean they appear in the young ones. They have appeared on a comedy relief song. They ( as the managment) where used in a PSA for fireworks safety. And then they just...kinda dissapear! Much like Trevor and Simon...they where a thing...and then *poof* they gone.
