To be fairly honest (I am a biker) most of those guys were either over reacting or driving recklessly by lane splitting, it might be legal in some places but it’s too dangerous. Except for few clips. Cars have blind spots, avoid being there. If someone is merging into your lane 100 meters away at least, slow down and allow them if you’re safe from behind. We’re in more danger than car drivers, but the road is for everybody.

It's easier to see a bike if it's splitting lanes, people just don't use their mirror. It's Legal here in Cali and I always check for bikes before merging as I my self ride too.

I've been riding a motorcycle for 40 years and I can honestly say I have never lane split. I know it's legal in some places but I personally would not do that it is too dangerous. And smashing someone's mirror to me is not a good thing. A lot of times you just got to slow down use your brakes if someone cut you off just let it go. That's just my opinion. When you see someone starting to come into your lane just use your brakes and slow down a little bit avoid the aggravation.

I will never get the common sense of following behind a car in traffic on a bike. That might be some of the dumbest shti in existence, when cars are moving fast maybe, but in slow bumper to bumper traffic that shti is retarded. I only accept that lane splitting should be for like bumper to bumper traffic moving at below 30-40kph, otherwise hell no.

Lane spitting is the issue. Lane filtering saves us from getting rear ended and spines broken. Lane filtering is at traffic moving below 10 mph and the bike can’t go more then 5 mph faster then traffic. So think a bike slowly going in between cars at a light or stop and go/stopped traffic. Splitting is everything else

i’ve been riding for 9 years. oblivious and distracted drivers are annoying and dangerous, but not uncommon.. if you don’t want to constantly ride defensively like every car is trying to kill you (and they are) then a bike isn’t for you.

Over in Joisey a few (or more) years ago, a bud was cruising down the 'pike, and some biker apparently didn't like *something* about him, took a swing at his mirror but missed, hung back and was coming up for another whack. All it took was a nudge maybe 1ft as he was coming by to send him flying into the ditch. Minor scrapes on his door but he just kept going, said f' it. Lotta these cammers got lots of ego, too much for their own good.

I love watching all your videos everyday , specially road rage and angry karens everywhere.

Lane filtering at high speeds is dumb though, no 2 ways about that, especially in heavy traffic.

All in that view, it sounds plausible. But the real danger isn’t just the closeness of pass, but also the fact the car is taking up the bikers braking zone. In this instance the biker was going slow enough, and there’s enough emergency space to the side (assuming nothing behind, right); but that’s not the point. You never take someone’s braking zone, under braking. The mirror is one way to go. The 2.5 tonne car is taking a humans life at risk - the least he can do is offer up his chin and say fair enough. You don’t see anyone walking around with a sledge hammer, swinging it near people on foot - because you’d get a big reaction. So a punch in the face would also be legit in some folks eyes. Alternatively the biker should be able to submit that clip to the cops and the car driver should be suspended. Take your pick.

I dont get it. If you see someone getting into your lane, just use your brakes. (at least if its possible) Dont risk getting hit or causing an accident, just so you can rip of some mirrors. I know it can get you really angry when someone doesn´t see you. But in my opinion, many accidents can be avoided, when you just slow down and drive behind the cars, not in between them.

I'm not saying some of these drivers were a little at fault, but vandalizing someone car by breaking the mirror off isn't the best way to handle the situation, regardless what the driver did. In most cases its more Illegal then getting cut off. This is why bikers have a bad reputation, when they act like the jury, the judge and the executioner. And most times, not all, but most times the driver simply doesn't see the biker, it's like bikers have never drove a car and so they don't comprehend that cars have blind spots. You're the smallest thing on the road and you have to make your presents know to other drivers.
