The crash at 3:12, the guy rotates his friends head that is laying on the ground. That is the stupidest thing you can do, if the guy has a fractured C-spine turning his head could paralyze him. Never ever do that or remove a helmet, let trained EMTs do it as they know how to stabilize the injury to prevent further damage.

@@4stroketube Thank you! 🙏 It’s getting better every day. I actually dislocated my shoulder later that day, and I’m guessing it’s was because of this initial fall. But it’s happened before and I can still ride, but it’s more “soft enduro” now. 😅

It's incredible the warped moral compass theives have, angry at the person who they tried to steal from because they reported it to law enforcement. Guys like the one who stabbed the tires on that motorcycle need old school justice. People used to take a short drop and a sudden stop for less, attacking someone's property with a weapon. People used to lose hands for that, and when it comes to bike thieves, I think it's still needed. You can make burgers with 1 hand, much harder to steal a motorcycle with 1 hand though. Damaging those tires is several days to a weeks worth of pay to fix and replace it plenty of cases.

During the sand riding exercise while teaching for BMW, we would bring up the “old school” technique of getting weight back and accelerate to keep front wheel light. We would always point out that using this method means “a rider will accelerate until they run out of talent.” 👍🏼

I had a knarly crash once, I was riding on a regular street behind a big lorry and a car rear ended me so hard I flew off the bike and Went under the back of the lorry and I instinctivly put my head up and I hit the bottom of the lorry so hard (since it started moving and didn't know I was there) that it punctured my helmet and I have a scar of the right side of my forehead now. Its been 7 years and Its still clearly visible. I still have the helmet on a shelf to this day

a 125cc, then just work your way up through the cc's. Mine was a 125, 400, 600, 750, 1000, then back to the 600s class, that's where I'm most comfortable.
