10:18 Like I said in other video with this footage: the fact, that lane splitting is legal in your place, doesn't mean you should be speeding while doing that. Many things may happen in that 50cm wide area. You have to aknowledge that we, bikers, are invisible to other drivers. Especially when you go so fast.

Lane splitting should be done in a safe manner, not hauling a$$ while most cars are crawling or stopped. Also, when I lane split during traffic I look for gaps up ahead and assume that the car closest to the gap will change lanes to get the spot so that way when it happens I'm not surprised and I'm already prepared to stop or evade.

dude, the car was not meant to change lanes, it could of slowed down to let the truck go, plus the car is not allowed to go 75 with a trailer connected, read the law or matter of fact KNOW IT better. Also the biker didnt do anything wrong, they are allowed to filter lanes, and change lanes. He also checked his blind spot twice before changing the lane. The truck didnt even check the mirrors before trying to go left, plus no signals. You clearly do not know what are u talking bout... go learn child

@@AmazingDigger Ok idiot. 1: 75 is the name of the highway, not the speed they are driving. 2: Its customary, though not required in Texas, to move over for merging traffic. Especially ones with trailers. 3: Bikes aren't allowed to filter in TX and no one said his movements were illegal but they were stupid. 4: How do you know the truck didn't check his mirrors. Idk why you're spouting laws and other bullshit...the bottom line is if Angry was a better ride and paying attention, he would have clearly seen merging traffic and known that speeding up into the blind spot of the SUV ahead was a poor decision. You clearly do not know what you are talking bout...go learn child.

Who wuduv thunk it?! Lane splitting at break neck speeds might end up in a broken neck? ...or ribs?! I'm also pretty sure there are laws about how fast you can lane split. Typically, it's 20MPH or SLOWER than any stopped traffic or 15MPH or SLOWER than any moving vehicle. Never mind any actual speed limits or anything. (I can only imagine the videos that DBL can't show!)

It's funny that you put a disclaimer up about not promoting illegal activities but call it instant justice when someone drives careless and he breaks their mirror. That's the kind of thinking that has caused problems between bikers and other drivers. If everyone drove like that then people would be running bikers off the road or throwing things at us because they didn't like the way we ride. You can't have it both ways people in cars are already making it harder on us because videos like this promote violence.

But honestly, it’s debatable to whether the mirror smack was justified, yea he moved in the carpool lane when it was a double yellow but the motorcycle arguably should not have been in the carpool lane at all as they’re a single occupant vehicle. Also lane splitting on a double yellow is illegal too I believe.

When I got my bike I already knew the risks of riding which if you ride you would understand that the biggest risk of riding is that your smaller and harder to see so there is more chance of being in an incident than if you was in a car.
