Installing accessories on 2021 Honda NC750x DCT

Warm winter day makes for the perfect time to get some accessories installed. We were able toget the HONDA OEM center stand on, added a Motowolf crossbar and Ali's favorite, the sheepskin seat cover.

Mine was fitted by the main dealer on purchase in 2021. Less than two years later I had to take it off as it was seized due to the lack of grease on assembly. It was badly rusted due to Honda's minimalistic paint job. In the end I decided to leave the heavy lump off and use a paddock stand.

Nice new bike? Greetings from Ireland 👍😊 I have a 2017 model NC. Don't know why centre stands are not standard on all bikes!!! I would also add heated grips & handguns along with a taller screen. Looks like you live in a cold climate?

Either I fell asleep or just missed the center bolt being put in but I am sure it is straight forward. Sorry the sheep skin is a no for me but may be interesting after you trim it. I figure I am good for at least 1 more new bike in my life toss up of this or an Indian scout?

We did put the bolt in and then stretched the spring up. Fairly easy install, just a pain that Honda doesn't already have them as a stock accessory. Ill also admit it wasn't the best filming job on my end 😁As far as the sheepskin goes, it definitely needs to be trimmed. Also, I've got to take into consideration the fuel is under the seat. I love Indians, but it wasn't the style of riding I wanted, so I guess it would all depend on what style of riding you want to do. Either way, you can't go wrong. ....Ali

@@bettertogetheradventures218 You would be surprised to know that nowadays, there are very few brands and models of motorcycles fitted with center stand from factory. However all scooters have one.

The easiest way is to mount the stand and then hook the springs, using an anchoring strap, attached to the rear wheel, and loop made out of paracord to stretch the springs and to hook into the stand loop. After releasing the strap, the paracord loop would be easier to be removed. Anyway, these two are trying hard to prove they're the most clumsy people posting videos about motorcycles...

@@bettertogetheradventures218 If I am right to tell you, I have driven 260 km so far, I have brought the motorcycle from the store on my own axis, and I do not yet have the necessary documents to register. But tomorrow the courier will bring me the documents, so maybe I'll have time to get the registration number. But those miles from the store reassured me that I would be with an NC friend. The only thing that bothers me, but I'm going to have to get used to it, and that's chain. So far, I've had motorcycles with a shaft or a belt. But this NC is my first new motorcycle, if I don't count the Chinese 125cm3 14 years ago.And with our "super" salaries in Slovakia, probably the last one.And I'm 54 years old, and I've never been a proponent of aggressive driving, and the power of 43Kw is sufficient. And that DCT transmission is fantastic, we'll see if it won't malfunction, but I hope not.It may be harder for you to read, but I don't speak English, and I only use a translator.
