Wow, this is quite a large dam. How much does the boreholes yield on this farm?

Hi could I ask how much it cost for the plastic liner?

We've moved away from most of our cement dams because of cracks and connected alot of 5k and 10k Jojo tanks. The cement dams held more water and they just look better in the eye when you do your rounds on your water points and you see that much water. It's a satisfying sight! If I may ask which company did you use to repair your dam. There are few that can still be salvaged on our farm. Thank you!!

Jojo tanks can be a lifesaver! We also use them where concrete dams are cracked and we need water for the sheep. Do you use the tanks for irrigation or livestock water? But you're right, concrete dams are quintessential to a farm. We used Dura Flex

@@LusernvleiFarm we unfortunately don't have the luxury to irrigate on this farm. We drilled three boreholes since 2018 1. Dry 2. Less than a 1000 l per hour 3. 4800 l per hour

@@LusernvleiFarm Jojo tanks and troughs are handy they just need to be fenced in if you have cattle. We thinking of building cement troughs in our camps with cattle as the cattle push them around alot, breaking the reducers resulting in alot of water being wasted. We will still use them on our small stock camps and kraals.

@@LusernvleiFarm isn't dura flex some liquid you can use to patch up cracks? I was asking if which company it is that you used for your dam lining.
