This has been interesting to follow. I've been looking at Geo Pro's for a while but have been concerned about the fridge. Not a lot of info out there about power consumption and not a fan of Magic Chef products in general. I took the 3-way fridge out of my camper and after a lot of research, installed a 12 volt Isotherm. With proper ventilation it achieves and holds it's temperature very well even in hot weather and sips power (I live in AZ). It looks like yours had no ventilation at all and you had to deal with heat build up in the cabinet. I've been looking for the perfect camper with the perfect setup for me and found that it doesn't exist and that I'll need to modify whatever I buy. The fridge is most important to me for my fresh food diet as is power consumption for the boondocking that I do. Seems like manufacturers put in the cheapest 12 volt fridge that they can find but not so good in the long run and poor ventilation will increase power consumption and cause early failure along with temperature issues. I rarely see a 12 volt friidge in a camper with adequate cabinet ventilation. Thanks for the honest videos!

Hey Wally, thanks for checking it out! I still haven’t had a chance to test out the fan modifications, but I am hoping it works at least for the time being. I really do not want to replace the fridge, but I may be saving up for a dometic or isotherm unit.
Any chance you could post a link for the wire shelves you have installed in your fridge? :)
