good for you man, i wish i could say the same but i wasn't that lucky haha. I even went to watch some live clips on youtube after the concert to see if it was just when i saw them, but they do that often

really? They are on tour in NA with EPICA and Lacuna Coil. I won't be able to attend their show when they come to town, other commitments.

@El Maccho I don't know. Maybe you could listen more than one time. I followed Remnants by Abeyance, and now I can't find any bad song of this band. If you aren't fit with his sound, don't torture yourself, and listen some other one you are better with.

I have to say that 2017 is almost over and i have to say that this is my fav metal song of 2017, (eventhough i'm Finnish i heard this song for the first time this year), i can't even think of any songs that come close to this.

I've been listening Insomnium since their third album, "Above the Weeping World" (2006), and while they were already great indeed, it was the album *this* song is from, their sixth, "Shadows of the Dying Sun" (2014) that elevated them into _immortals_ :) HAIL FROM FINLAND!

This song has everything and then some more!

The meaning of this song. The song stands for some kind of loss. He lost his love. It seems that it is about a strong love, something that if you're touched then you are screwed if you screw things up. And now he wants to get back to the old days but it seems that he cannot go back that easy because the distance between these 2 persons got higher and redemption gets into place but they don't want to get to this stage. And they both know that they are doing something wrong by being apart. Now there is that part in the video where that passionate girl gets in, that is a message of passion, of true love and it means that this is essential in life (let's love again), to love the one that you know you have to love. And he tells her to slow down so he can get back to her because he realizes that he needs her in her life and vice-versa.

You guys should review Swallow the Sun if you haven't done so. The song descending winters is a solid one!

Insomnium, to me are the best "newer" melodeth bands. In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, Arch Enemy, Children of Bodom, Amon Amarth, and now Insomnium! Insomnium - Into the Woods is my favorite song by them, but there's no video for it
