Inside Turkey’s CRAZIEST Bazaar (shocking!) 🇹🇷

We went to Istanbul's craziest bazaar (not the Grand Bazaar).
We discovered amazing Turkish food at Mısır Çarşısı (Egyptian Market).
From spices, dried vegetables, coffee, tea, candies, sweets, baklava, cured meat, cheese....everything looked amazing. It was a shopping heaven! Allured by the funniest shop keeper, we went and tried the best Turkish delight for the first time. We also tried other delicious treats at the market. Check out our vlog!

I lived in Istanbul for 10 years. Everything in Istanbul is "intense" but not in a bad way if you ask me. If you're rich it's probably the best place on earth to live, like if you're staying at one of those villas (yalis) overlooking Bosphorus and traveling everywhere in your Mercedes. Trust me it's the place to rule the world. But if you're poor, Istanbul beats you up seriously.

Totally agree!! I lived in Istanbul for 2 years and in my opinion the best way to enjoy it is stay where you are - if you try to travel anywhere in the city you'll be tired before you arrive! ;-))

Hagia Sophia mosque is probably d only one mosque that was previously a cathedral. But in Spain, I think there is at least two, perhaps more cathedral built on sites that were previously mosques in Andalusia. I've visited one of them in Seville, one of d biggest Cathedrals in d world.

You're right, Misir means Egypt, when they built this bazaar in 1660, it was called Yeni Baazar (New Baazar) 150 years later, since most of the items came from Egypt, so we changed the name to Misir carsisi, which means Egyptian Bazaar.

You get a box & ask for selection of different flavours, they’ll cut up all different ones & put it in a box & sell by weight. You don’t have to choose just one, you could have a piece of every single one if you wanted to 😂
