IU debut is a failure, that's a truth that even IU acknowledge. When she's debut with MIA, the song was a failure (but i love it, and people nowdays started to love it too) And when the first time she's singing her debut song in music show, there a lot of boygroup will singing too so a lot of fangirl coming. When it's her turn to singing, all those agressive fangirl shouting at her with harsh word and someone even call her "pig". It's her 1st show and she singing live, can you imagine how in shock you are? But IU keep it pro and just continue to singing. After her debut, she don't get recognized that much and don't have any schedule. So she need to make a big reaction can come out on tv, and she even begging a radio PD to make her as a regular in the radio.

IU is a person who has suffered alot to get where she is right now. And the reason why she's so loved by whole korea is because of her personality. It's the personality of hers that catches people's attention. Staying same on and off camera, being honest, keeping her promises, taking care of her staff and band members, being loyal to her label, being close with her fans, sharing her concerns openly, taking care of Uaena, also composing and writing songs that resonates with people is a skill and she owns this skill. There's a reason why uaena is the most peaceful fandom out there. Artist behavior reflects the fandom behavior or vice versa (its a hard pill to swallow but it's true) Staying loyal to her country, not seeking western validation 'cause she wants to perfect herself in her own grounds first. This is the reason why she's loved by korea, anyone else make music anyway. She's an inspiration. Her journey from "idol" to "ideal" is worth noticing. I read somewhere that "what does your ideal stirs up in you?" And honestly, she makes me wanna work hard despite all the difficulties in the way.

This woman has suffered so much. She endured all of that, the antis, the hate every idol gets,12 yr old immature jungkook stans who hate her because she’s jungkooks idol. (I’m an army dw,I love jungkook 🥺) then she got so much hate but finally started to make her way up all on her own. But then she lost three of her best friends one by one. Imagine the pain this woman has went thru.

Sparklyeon has tried to reach out to this yt to tell them to take the videos they plagiarized from her down and hasn’t gotten a respond. she is so admirable. her hardworking and dedication has brought her this far. Truly self made. thinking of the 13-14 year old IU going to multiple auditions and being a trainee at 14 and debuting at 15 how hard must it have been on her. She said she used to stay in the practice room singing until late at night even though she was still attending school. Her reasoning for trying so hard was that children like her who had no home had to work harder as she didn't want to fail given her family and financial circumstances. She has given up most of her teenage years and the experiences of a normal childhood to achieve her dreams. Her debut song Mia didn't do that well and only after 2 years did she rise to stardom with nagging and good day. During that period she had to go through so many struggles to get there. From having an eating disorder which she managed to get over thankfully, having people constantly trying to find the smallest reason to hate on her which resulted in some very stupid controversies specially with her first self composed and produced album chetshire which she worked so hard on, losing 3 very close friends in a span of two years IU has gone through a lot. But her resilience has kept her going. she has never taken her success for granted staying humble, giving her all to her work and being kind and generous by constantly donating and raising awareness on a variety of social causes.I wrote quite a lot which is not normal for me 😅just love IU as a person and artist that she is.

Iu Is a QUEEN, SHE DESERVES EVERYTHING.

My heart goes out to this precious woman. She is one of the most bravest people out there and everyone should know.

This left me in tears. Despite knowing all of it prior to watching this video, it’s still devastating. No one deserves to go through such struggles. Hope she’s happy and extremely proud of what she’s done for herself.

The end of 2019 was also a difficult period for UAENA. We were very worried about IU’s mental health. She seems helpless and might give up her dreams and life. We are very grateful that she overcame all these tragedies that happened to her and became a stronger person.

I have seen those comments by toxic stans telling her to retire, calling her old , bitch , they were even worse like telling her to die.... I know real armies would never do such things coz even I'm an army. Armies really love her , you can see so many supporting comments from armies under her videos, tweets.. they are just the fake fans who talk shit.
