I'm just blown away by the ingenuity of those old analogue machines. A studio plummers" work is never done!.

I am always amazed anytime ,when I see so many miles of wiring, electronic components and many other parts of the keyboard, needed to create wonderful music !!

Always good to see them with "their clothes off", I think this was the one that you previously 'lowered the drawbridge' whilst live, that made me flinch, pleased to see that it was disconnected this time. I worries me, (I am a bit of a worrier) to see that much weight on those tethers, a.k.a. drawbridge chains.

It’s dangerous, true… but I have learned by my electric shocks and do it a lot less nowadays

Beautiful organ. I wish I had one. I've got a 60s Lowrey transistor organ hanging around and it looks very much like the DSO1. Maybe I should gut it and DIY the internals of the DSO1 ? Yeah right! LOL.

I have a discrete-transistor Galanti organ that needs similar care and attention. All the key and pedal contacts need cleaning. It's cluttering up my small home studio but is on the to-do list (and has been for eight years).

Need to see you review a Hurdy Gurdy, they are basically an acoustic synthesizer and one if the first keyboard instruments

We had one a while back - it was a fairly cheep one, and a constant nightmare winding the cotton on the strings in order to get a non-squeaky sound. If someone has a hurdy gurdy they would like us to demondtrate please let us know :)

At 1:19, a bug can be seen approaching and entering the hole by the tool holder. Is he living there rent free?

picked up a DSO that hasn't been used in 50 years. Played fine until the hum started....time to change the caps. Not looking forward to that.

I know you know what you are doing but aren't those voltages even wnen switched off lethal. Be good to see another video about how you fix things on it.

Yeah - if the capacitors aren’t discharged before you touch them, it can give you a very nasty belt - I usually use a 2 - 5 watt 1 megohm bleeder resistor )whatever is lying around) when working on stuff to discharge capacitors before I start. More details will appear in the next video about the Lowrey :)

Yes. You have become a quitter. I have recently discovered your videoes and channel and have very much enjoyed it so far. However, quitting your hair is very disappointing. I will forgive you if you immediately commence growing it back.
