These units do an awesome job !! I've had mine in conjunction with my A/C for 17 yrs., the unit still cools awesomingly with just general maintenance. The first set of pads lasted 10 yrs.

You have better stick with an air conditioner unit which costs about $5000 including installation and the unit.

With the Aerocool Pro series, that automatically drains every 5 hours, if you turn it off after 4 hours and then restart it will it run another 5 hours before dumping...to save water!!!
