Hey Kurt, ignore this if it is on purpose. But I suggest you increase your camera's aperture. It seems to typically be somewhere in the 1.8-2.8 range. During low light scenes, this is necessary. But during well lit daylight, so much of what is even just a few feet away from you is out of focus. This also leads to the occasional focus hunting the camera does when switching quickly from your face to something in your hand. An aperture in the 4 range will still separate you from a busy background, but will help keep your nearby area in focus; which is more pleasing to the eye. In addition, due to the slightly larger depth of field, your camera will have an easier time with autofocus when you really need it.

I had major ankle surgery last month and I haven’t been able to do anything except sit on my couch. Has been pretty depressing. Just want to say thank you for the awesome content Kurt! Keeping my mood up seeing all these amazing people and places!

I had a really bad case of pneumonia with no flu symptoms just pain (couldn’t move, pleurisy in ribs) and I just watched Kurt the whole time. He def helped me through.

Man this reminds me of a trip i took to Pilsen ( Czech Republic), on a weekend with an army buddy. Not even planned. We got to meet some "gypsies' that took us around town and we were just buying giant bottles of beer for like 35 cents. At the end of the night we had met hundreds of people, had security and had a hell of a time. (1996) This took me back. Thanks bro.

Kurt I live 100 days a year in Colombia since 2019 , started in Cali and it’s so refreshing to see someone show the side of Cali that I fell in love with. To me the people and the vibe of the city are the best in all of Colombia. Love all your content, whenever family or friends ask me why I love Colombia so much I direct them to your channel. Don’t know if you’ve been to Bucaramanga but think you’d dig it. Take care and thanks for opening peoples eyes, minds and hearts. Peace!

Happy that he keeps making these great videos. Been watching him from the beginning. Suddenly he learned Spanish, fell in love with Columbian women, food and life now most his videos are from the same place. I'm genuinely happy for him he's a good guy but I miss his travels around the world, seeing places with new eyes and taking others along with him. If you watched his earlier videos he went everywhere, Europe, middle east, Pakistan. I miss those days actually. But it's also cool that he's spending more time in one place and showing deeper layers of what looks like his new adopted home. Happy travels Kurt
