1. Since when was being blonde a race-related thing? Albino people have blonde hair, and black people are in fact allowed to dye hair platinum last time I checked. 2. This isn’t a country album, and she never said it was. Even if it was totally country, lots of the sound and stylistic choices come from people that are NOT white and this is partly for celebrating the black country artists who were shut out from the public eye because of their success like Linda Martell and forced to perform in places organized by the Chitlin Circuit

So a talented singer is not a musician unless they also have mastered and play an instrument? In that case, Ozzy Osbourne, Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Frank Sinatra, Mariah Carey, Anthony Kiedis (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Judy Garland, Ella Fitzgerald, Christina Aguilera, Morrissey, Gwen Stefani, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Bing Crosby, Madonna, Britney Spears, Tina Turner, Cher, Celine Dion, Stevie Nicks, Eric Burdon, Jim Morrison, Ronnie Van Zant, and many more famous vocalists can't be considered "musicians" since they didn't play any instruments on their recordings, other than tamborine or cowbell. There are many more who, like Beyonce, can play an instrument, they just aren't good enough to play with the band. Beyonce does play piano, just not at the pro level. Other famous vocalists who could play some instruments but not well enough to play on recordings are so MANY! Roger Daltrey, James Brown, Robert Plant, Janis Joplin, Adele, Rod Stewart, Bono, Mick Jagger, Grace Slick, Linda Ronstadt were/are all vocalists who could play instruments but not well enough to be pro. The voice IS an instrument, and one of the most difficult to master.
