As an old skool Beyoncé fan I have struggled to agree with her constant evolution in her music. I actually liked Act 1 Renaissance and the dance theme. Very edgy. But when I heard she was doing a country album I was completely turned off....But fast forward to 2 days ago, when I decided to give it a listen after all the rave reviews....I'm completely blown away...Blown away by her creativity and artistry. People critique her for not writing her own songs etc but you can't deny her creativity and her musicality. I feel this album is definitely Grammy worthy. The duet with Miley is mesmerising and the one with Wllie Nelson, Just For Fun is the best on the album in my opinion. Beyoncé is a trendsetter, a Tyrannt like her other song on the album is called. The theme is clearly about defiance and blending genres....its awesome...all hail B!!
