Ah ha, I was wondering if we'd ever get an insight into how the famous rice soup was made. Even in the UK I've heard of this, whispered around the streets. Chefs in all the restaurants have consulted the finest culinary minds to figure out how to make this famous rice soup from County Clark jail, mysterious named the Famous rice soup of County Clark jail. I'm surprised they didn't blur out the faces of the inmates making it, so they don't get pestered when they're released.

At least three times the size of that you can fit four of those little trays on one of our big trays that's actually really ridiculous that the detention centers are being that cheap about feeding people people shouldn't go hungry regardless

This is a great dog and pony show for the video. I can tell you now that in real jail or prison, you will see inmates rarely having a haircut on let alone gloves when they're preparing food, and as fair as the kitchen goes, they likely had cleaned before the movie for youtube. It is extremely rare to see a prison kitchen or jail kitchen this clean.

Jail inmates get food poisoning left and right from the food and life long health issues like cancer high blood pressure cholesterol and heart disease. This prisoners should start suing the prisons when they get out for cruel and unusual punishment and endangering their health with dangerous food. They would probably win a civil suit in court.Doesn’t make sense when they do this because those inmates need tons of medical care from eating that toxic food later in life if they are still in prison which costs the taxpayers more money in the long run.

I've seen worse on the videos. Nasty food and much smaller portions. But the prisons are realizing that "animalizing" the prisoners alienates them further and more into crime, and also harder to manage. Reasonable food gives them a positive to cling to, look forward to, and has a calming effect that makes the guards lives easier too. It also decreases the need for hungry prisoners to work on contraband devices to "cook" commissary food... there is nothing to be gained by having hangry prisoners, and a lot to be lost via increased violence, irritability, and more detachment from social mores.

The thing is, the better you feed them the more likely they won't last out at eachother. I'm not saying give them amazing food but atleast up the portions on the trays. Every now and then maybe on Fridays and weekends let them eat more tasteful food also
