Inline skating - beginner to confident (rollerblading) - 2 year progression - anybody can improve!

Welcome to my beginner to confident video. Here you will see a montage of footage showing my skating from when I was an absolute beginner to two years later when I have become a far more confident inline skater.
I hope this video will show anybody learning inline skating that with practice and persistence you can improve as a skater.
I still have many more things to learn but my journey so far has been a lot of fun and very rewarding.
Get out there and get skating!

Your skating was already looking decent just a couple months in but woah the progress is awesome! Thank you for taking us through that 2 year journey. Very inspiring stuff. Had I not just got back from a session this video would have gotten me out there.

I DID SKATE FOR A MONTHS WHEN I WAS 7YRS OLD. AND THEN I STOPPED IT BCAUSE I GOT BORED. AND THEN I AM NOW 17, MY COUSIN BOUGHT ME A ROLLER SKATE. I THOUGHT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE IT ANYMORE. BUT THE MOMENT I STAND UP WHILE WEARING IT, I CAN STILL SKATE😂I DON'T KNOW HOW. WE ALL KNOW THAT ROLLER SKATE IS VERY HARD SO I AM REALLY SURPRISED😆. AND NOW I AM WATCHING SOME AMATUERS IN THE WORLD OF ROLLER SKATING TO LEARN SOME TRICKS AND TO KNOW HOW TO USE IT THE RIGHT WAY. ❤️🙏

I think your next video should be a practice progression/session for beginners based on what you worked on in your first few months. I'm envious that you can get out 3-4 days a week. Perhaps your video should be about making the most of practice time.

Ive been skating for two months...almost daily...and today i have my first fall. It was frustrating, it makes me angry and yes...it hurts. And it hppens just when i was feeling more confident with the strides and the downhill part....the dificult part of it is to accept the fall...to accept the pain...

thanks for tracking your journey. super inspiring to see someone commit to a long term approach and really enjoy the activity. i rollerbladed as a kid (when the movie brink came out and a lot of kids my age were blading 😄) and am now 32 and want to pick it up again to meet my commuting needs. i’m excited about taking the time to learn and enjoyjng the ride now after watching some videos. thanks again for sharing

I started rollerblading 5 days ago and I’m just learning how to brake. I’ve been practicing everyday so I hope I can keep my motivation to keep practicing and keep going like you.

Great progression! I started skating since mid-January; so about 4-5 months of skating now. Everyone tells me I'm excelling for my short time, but I always feel like I could be doing better. My backwards crossovers are quite fast and I can do some nifty tricks. I guess I should start uploading videos to show my progress, huh?

I started skating like 4 weeks ago, and I’m in love with it, Im fortunate that a new skating place has opened up near where I live (I live in a small town and the original one closed) so I can go skating there on the weekends.
