    Nice explanation, much easier to understand than what I was taught in virology at UCLA. I do have a weird question, is the reason that type C does not cause the symptoms A and B cause, due to the lack of the segment coding for an interferon antagonist?

    Why would you come here because of Covid? Coronaviruses are positive RNA viruses, and do not have a segmented genome.
