I’m 63+ and this did nothing for me. Nothing. 2 weeks in and still have coughing and terrible diarrhea feeling weak, loss of smell and taste, body aches and overall feeling of malaise. Plus the virus has destroyed my vision. I was already suffering from 6th nerve palsy from a virus I had 2 decades ago and this virus has made my eye condition worse.

They absolutely work. There is a pharmacist in my town and the hospital that are giving the infusions to covid patients that meet the criteria for their use. The results have been remarkable.

After turning up positive for COVID-19 and insisted I be given the monoclonal antibodies treatment 3 hours after an emergency order was issued by Fl gov Desantis it help to change the downward spiral course I was on to a positive course for recovery. I highly oppose the toxic vaccines and affirmatively encourage folks to get monoclonal antibodies treatment as early as possible if you test positive for COVID-19. I have family members that also got Covid-19 and They experienced positive recovery results as well.

Thank you God. My elderly father wouldn't be here without it. He came down with the fever, started going down hill the next day. Got monoclonal the next day and was up sitting on the couch the next. He's been improving everyday since then.

This video is outstanding. I took immunology in medical school in the late 80's, and was terribly frustrated by how disconnected it all was. At that time researchers had put a few puzzle pieces together here and there, but had no idea what the overall picture looked like. Obviously we've come a long way since then, but the way you teach this is wonderful. I can't wait to watch more of your videos!

I went to school in 2000 and now they use virtual reality learn anatomy and a lot of biochemistry lessons look more like video games than actual work.

More people around the globe need to watch this.

You put my bio college professor to shame, he didn't really explain shit about monoclonal antibodies, and used some complicated definition, instead of pictures and simple words like you did! Much Appreciated!

I think there's a lot of hubris in medicine and medical training which encourages some people to perpetuate rather than dispel the mystery thereby exalting in their "cleverness". The best teachers in any subject can break concepts down to simple steps.

Never in my life would i think i would be learning about this type of stuff. Im a mechanic but with the crazy political climate were in with mandates and sheeple believing crazy headlines, you have to win your debates with facts not feelings, convince people to ask questions and do your own research. Great video!

I'm with you. My husband and I got covid in July he was hospitalized and just got out in September. I wasnt as bad but got monoclonals in the hospital as well. I believe they saved my life. Side effect is naseua but I had already been for days and had lost 20 lbs in one week so there was no question whether I was going to take it or not. Early treatment is the best option. I believe fewer people would be dying from covid if primary drs were allowed to prescribe antivirals..now they are finally allowed to prescribe monoclonals since Saint faucci announced they can for any case of covid(before it was only a certain population) a few weeks ago. So I think this will prevent more hospitalizations and deaths.

@@dystopian2153 look into NAC the fda is trying to make it a drug so they can use it to treat covid. Its in phase 2 trials. You used to be able to buy it for 5 dollars a bottle as a supplement. watch they will rename it and charge 200 a pill. Big pharma isnt there to heal you they will heal you just enough to keep you hooked or addicted so you keep paying. I lost 10 years thanks to big pharma why should i trust them now. Being able to be knowledgeable about these types of things are very important. You cad be a sheep who follows or a black sheep that stops to ask questions.

GREAT video on what was going on in my body! I was diagnosed with S3 non-Hodgkin (diffuse large B-Cell) lymphoma and treated with Rituximab and the standard CHOP. PET scan after three infusions saw "no evidence of disease" (I had a total of six infusions). It's an amazing concoction and I thank God for persistent scientists and doctors who care about the elimination of this disease!

@@tjgrafiks looking back, I had some night sweats and a bit of fatigue - but attributed that to hard workouts. The main manifestation was a tickle at the back of my throat, which was a tumor. Biopsy, of course, confirmed it. Other than that, life was normal and great! Tumor was a sneaky little bastard!

I had a CT and Ultrasound scan of neck and organs and the endoscopy and colonoscopy and they came back clear. they did see a 12 mm node on my lower left lung but that was there since two years ago and unchanged. I have a lymph node on the right side of my neck since i was 18 that goes up n down when im not feeling well. I’m 48 now. lots of lymph nodes that pop up and hurt in my groin too for the last 10-12 years. the tickle in the back of my throat suddenly started last march. never had that before. thought it was covid. still have it now and it gets better then worse with my symptoms. im now feeling small lumps in my throat last few days as im losing more weight last cpl weeks. no fevers or loss of appetite either. maybe mild night sweats but only from waist down. my legs get hot and moist for about 20-30 mins then normal again always around 2:30-3 am. that had also stopped for months and started again just the other day

@@eltigrechino3390 I was in pretty good shape even though i had my back issues now and then. 160lbs of mostly muscle when this just went crazy on me last year. pain pain pain in elbows, shoulders, knees ankles and then neck from august to november then numbness in arms and weakness too. by mid november weight loss started lots of burning in my gut and organs. i’m guessing widespread inflammation. even my eyes burned. that’s starting up again the last cpl days too smh. gums just randomly started bleeding a few months ago. was good for about 2 wks then just today started again. my body is deteriorating so fast it’s crazy. did that find anything off in your bloodwork? all they found in mine was high inflammation markers. then after a few months my platelet count dropped by 100

@@tjgrafiks Hang-in, there, TJ - no; no weight loss - actually I’ve always struggled with weight *gain* and that’s not changed. Sounds like you are already keeping updates with your oncologist, right? Those are some pretty tell-tale signs. Some of the non-Hodgkin sub-types can be a little tricky. Trust your instincts - get a second opinion if you need to. I pray for you! May the Lord protect you and restore you, delivering you from fear and anxiety.

I am 28 years old and suffering with multiple autoimmune diseases (spondiloarthritis, Behçet’s, PFAPA, fibromyalgia) and I am about to start treatment with infliximab. So thank you for helping me understand how monoclonal antibodies work, it really means a lot to me

This was very helpful. My granddaughter suffers from sero-negative autoimmune encephalitis. She’s 6, and contracted it when she was turning 3. We’ve done IVIG and Actimra. Lately we completed plasm pheresis and are using rituximab. She’s making slow progress with rituximab. I’m so hopeful for continued research to identify her antigen. A new MAB will come along that will bring her back to us. She is so well cared for by her mom and dad. We all love her so much. It’s been a tough journey. We’re thankful for our faith in Christ which has strengthened us. Thank you for your instruction. It’s been insightful.

@@mulvey0731 It just involves eating (or drinking) lots of veggies. The source of most autoimmune diseases is foreign protein in the blood, so avoiding meat is key in my experience. This is because the most common way these proteins get in the blood is through the intestine. Vitamin D and breast milk (if she might be still doing it at 3) is also key in avoiding or improving autoimmune diseases (and there is much supporting published studies on this). Finally acupuncture is also useful as well as fresh fermented foods or lots and lots of probiotics. I’m not saying this will work all the time-some will show some improvements, some you might find useless, but I have 5 autoimmune diseases and these are things I have found helpful that have kept me alive and (somewhat) well. Finally, there is some evidence that early life exposure to cow dairy and wheat (gluten) can cause certain autoimmune diseases. If these sensitivities are caught early enough the illness can reverse and go into remission. Best of luck to you! I don’t think those harsh meds are the answer for the long term. I would strongly suggest delaying vaccines at least until she is fully recovered (or not at all?)

@@Pack.Leader Desantis is working on buying it directly from the manufacturer. Hopefully he's successful at it because it's kept Florida's death toll down tremendously compared to other states. Which is why Biden is seizing power over it. So he can distribute it to other states and get the credit while people in Florida are dying. It's going to blow up in his face though because DeSantis won't sit idly and let people in his state die. He'll figure out a way to turn this around. I have faith in him.

I think even if the supply is low it can still distributed among the people who need it and are uncomfortable getting the vaccine.

As I understand it, it was so effective that the Biden administration stepped in and cut the amount of it going to Florida, presumably so it could be used elsewhere. Thats the most charitable interpretation, that Biden believes lives in other states are more important. Thats the best I can do for him.

I can not THANK YOU enough for this video! So incredibly helpful for me as I just began my journey with Rituxan. I have Follicular Lymphoma, Stage 3. Since diagnosis in December last year, I have been swimming in a sea of information, and sometimes get overwhelmed with the specifics of it all. My progress is pretty good and I'm on a two year plan of a Rituxin infusion every other month. I've had a few delays in staying on that plan because my ANC labs are low but overall it's going well. Thank you again for your help and concern

Thank you for helping me learn about monoclonal antibodies. I was diagnosed this month with systemic Wegener’s Granulomatosis with polyangiitis. The day after I had my 2nd Rituximab infusion for it I tested positive for Covid-19. The day after that I got a Sotrovimab infusion, and the next two days after that I received Remdesivir treatments. Because of this video I now know that at least the first two medicines were monoclonal antibodies each targeting a specific protein for my two separate diseases.

There is one developed by an American pharmaceutical company.....the combo is called casirivimab and Imdevimab..... available as a cocktail drug......the catch is it has to be given within five days of the person getting a positive test....and is pretty expensive....

You likely already know this but a CAR-T cell therapy Tecartus was also approved in July 2020 for treating MCL. It utilizes autologous genetically engineered T cells that attract to CD19 antigen expressed by B cells (including MCL cancer cells).

CAR-T is a great idea in theory, but in practice, you'd better hope you're at a medical center which is really good at getting money for this kind of thing.

@@kma3647 Yescarta and Breyanzi are 375k each (and charged less in other countries like China). And I think insurance would cover at least half the cost in the US. Not saying it's cheap or affordable by any means but other options like HCT aren't cheap either. There are also allogeneric CAR-T currently in trials and would be potentially cheaper.

Was treated with ranubizimab for my diabetic retinopathy. Was great to get a treatment where I actually understood the mechanism. I’d used mAbs in a protein detection method when I was a research tech.

As a sufferer of both rheumatoid arthritis and age-related macular degeneration, I have been taking forms of these meds for years. If I asked my docs how they worked, I'd get the deer-in-headlights look, and they'd change the subject. I'm not sure they didn't know, but they surely couldn't explain it. Thanks for explaining it. I just received monoclonal antibodies for covid and i believe they saved my life. i didnt know Rituxan was one also, i receive that as well as ivig. Excellent. I have a friend with Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma. This helps me understand the MAB component of his treatment.

When my COVID turned to pneumonia, I was given the antibody infusion. It was around 10 days since I first had symptoms, which I was told is toward the end of the effectiveness window. I had to drive over an hour to get to the place. And, then back home. The last probably 20 miles, I had terrible chills. I went home and straight to bed. I slept about 12 hours. Mind you, I'd been up since about 1:30 a.m. and got home around 7 p.m. So, I was tired. I woke up not knowing what day it was or what was going on. Then, I remembered that I had COVID and had had the infusion. I never had the instant recovery people speak of. I do believe it helped, though. I was pretty sick, but I wasn't admitted or sent home on oxygen.

I was a part of Cleveland Clinic's blood draw of remicade patients in 2020 to see how covid affected those of us who take remicade here in the states. I caught covid in November of 2020. I barely had any symptoms (loss of smell) for 24 hours. Had my husband not been really sick with covid I could have easily been a super spreader. Instead I stayed home for 2 weeks and even now I take covid tests twice a month.

I am a transplant nurse, kidney and liver, we use this treatment for rejection and it is very effective. My son is 43 and has multiple myeloma , I am hopeful that at some point they will be able to develop a treatment.

I did 9 months of a clinical trial 2 years ago when my M-Spike was 1.4 and today it's still going down or staying the same . It's at 0.86. When I quit the trial it was 1.0.

I finally convinced my wife to bring her mom for treatment on 5/10/22. I'll let you know how fast she will recover. But thank you for the information and education

Hello I have a question. How does the treating team identify the antigen on the surface of respective pathogens? Biopsy?

Our physical bodies are amazing. What medical science has learned and can do is amazing. It is difficult to imagine the intricacies to be the result of chance...I have tested positive for anti bodies to sars 2019 for the second time...I am 74 years old...in the last 20 months I have had Legionnaires pneumonia, covid 10/ 2020, quadruple heart bypass surgery, and I am fully recovered. I told my cardiologist how thankful and amazed I was at what they were able to do. He said, "after what we do I am amazed people walk out of here". So I believe that ultimately God made us and we can learn more about what we are and just learn to be thankful. I know I am.

Thanks for this. I have Erythroderma, and have just gone onto Adulimumab. I don't like to take a treatment without at least a basic knowledge of what happens and why. Reading the Patient Information scars the bejebbers out of you. This was clear and understandable.

And tocilizumab, that is an mAb for IL-6 receptor and used to treat COVID induced cytokine storms.

I just got mine and I feel better already
