As a makeup artist- it's very common to mix different brands and Manny made the good point that he used the UD one for brightening and that's why artist will use different brands bc each are strong in something specific and depending on your look- it will require a combo of specifically targeted products. He didn't lie and actually made the product feel more interesting bc he swears by its brightening effect. No concealer is going to match, full coverage, color correct, brighten, smooth and Stay put so a combo of them are needed for the ultimate glow. Plus. This is concealer we are stressing over. We have it too good.

If he mixed concealers then say that! That is his job!! To be honest about how well the products work. You all are missing the point. Not to hear him blow smoke up whoever he is speaking to's 🍑. Yall are okay because it's Manny but Mikayla could never! It's the same thing.

The James thing was a two part marketing scheme: Part 1 - The "every body" campaign: get as many people as possible to post videos talking about James and the brand. Everyone posting their own videos on social media to hopefully be chosen allows for more reach. Part 2 - Select only influencers: the influencers chosen have larger followings and therefore will promote James and the brand, reaching to larger audiences. Within the two steps you get two different types of reach throughout social media.

I think its crazy how james can do everything he did, and still have drama as nothing as this be brought up as if he never ... yknow, abused his power and took advantage of underaged fans? At best, he was irresponsible by not asking for ID, and minors were hurt because of it.

See, the thing I remember about James being all "I want people of *all* skill levels" was because he thought that his launch roduct was going to be "intimidating" to the average consumer, or elkse not something that the everyday person might want. And I don't know this is what he's trying to do, but going all-influencers, and painting randoim faces at Coachella is just reinforcing all that.

Honestly, I think some brands like to go to this event is because of how many people are inebriated at Coachella. Here me out, people who are drunk or are using other substances and are easier to convince than a sober person, i.e; a worker would be able to convince them to do a quick tik tok/promo easier. To be fair I know it's not all brands, but Coachella has turned into an outdoor promo party, so I wouldn't be surprised if some people/brands would use it for that
