INFJ DATING | HOW TO ASK FOR WHAT YOU WANT & GET IT | The Rarest Personality Type: Today, we're talking about INFJ dating and INFJ relationships. We're asking the question, how can an INFJ ask for what he or she wants and get it because we all know we as INFJs by default, always lookout for the other person. We think about what we can do to enrich the relationship, how we can be of service to the other one. And very often in this process, we create a dynamic that doesn't allow us to even ask for what we want. We continue to get frustrated, waiting for the other person to understand us, to give us what we want. We don't change the dynamic, which is responsible for us getting what we want and not only asking for it.

I did some niche searching - and it worked out well. It was before the Internet was what it is today. That helped - but then I still had to work out a lot of what you described. I like your emphasis on putting ourselves first - and make ourselves less needy.

so hard for INFJs growing up when they wait so long for their parents to give them permission to make their own decisions, and it never comes, it's devastating. It's so cruel. But all we needed was for someone to say, it's ok, you're an INFJ and I support you, I give you permission to be you. I gave three valuable houses away because other people wanted them and my input was not allowed. I wrongly thought they would return the kindness. The properties were fully mine through hard work and intelligence, just like your money was yours. I had to learn the hard way. Trying to operate Fi is sometimes torture.

it's not about feeling worthy that many life coaches talk about, it's about waiting for permission, you got it

I do this all the time! Not just with romantic partners but with ppl in general lol the example you gave abt your mom rlly stood out to me. I was an only child, so her whole world revolved around me growing up. I still ask for her permission/opinion for a lotttt

Maybe is the time to change that dynamic. I know how hard it can be; especially with parents

Im always so thankful that you get it and choose to share your knowledge. 🧡 first- I think anyone watching this should pat yourself on the back a little bit because the fact that we are here listening to our wise sister infj shows we're here actively prioritizing our own personal growth. And thats huge. I am just now, in my mid 30s, understanding the importance of certifying myself. Remembering my personal power is revolutionizing my entire life. It's a game changer. It will forever blow my mind at how easily I've been just giving it away all my life. God bless you Wenzes!!!

Great video Wenzes! Well, I changed my dynamics from trying to please others to just being myself, and letting people flow into and out of my life naturally. If they want to be with me, or hangout with me, they will. But I still haven't gotten the one I want...She's still playing hard to get. And I hate playing games, especially when I feel this strongly towards her. But I'm not pushing it...I'm letting it flow naturally. If she wants to be with me, she'll let me know...I hope. Because I'm not waiting around. If something pops up, I'm going to do what's best for me, and what I've got to do, and if that means dating someone else in the meantime, then I'll do what makes me happy...Even if it won't make me 100% happy, because being with her would be the ultimate in happiness (for me).

If you want happiness in your life you need to mirror what you want people respect others if they respect themselves as simple as that . if You have a negative attitude your life will mirror that kind of attitude .

I really would like to be able to share a good experience in which I changed my relationship dynamics and positive results occurred. Yet, that never happened. I had been guilty of getting involved with toxic women and I had to change that. Not all women are toxic obviously. I hope I meet a fine INFJ lady because I do believe there would be reciprocation I have not experienced in past relationships.

Infj: “I feel like I’m losing layers of myself…” Infp: 😳 😨 (complete surprise and first time hearing this)…”like what?!? What’s bothering you?!? I had no idea… Infj: (lists indiscriminate very small non issue things…) Infp: “I literally have no issue with those things…I just had no idea you were struggling…be my guest…your “problems” are actually a non issue for me…you just have to communicate because otherwise I won’t know. Infj: 😅 (is. I longer letting their thoughts crush their souls because of their prejudgments of their possible perceived “shortcomings “ which are non issues) Lol To the INFJs…. For most infps…we are pretty chill and you’ll only know if you share. Our #1 is to show you we care and even if we don’t agree we won’t usually be mean about it because the relationship is #1 😊

coming from an INTJ here, id say that some KEY WORDS to what youre talking about here ARE - LOOKING FOR VALIDATION - that your partner recognizes what you are doing. i KNOW that >>>>>>> I

I'm curious about what I have been seeing regarding the difference between Alpha and Sigma. Since INFJs like us go our own way isn't Sigma a more appropriate name for us especially in relationships and business dealings?

This my biggest problem the Ni and Ne critic, Iive like freely and happy when their are no people to feel I'm responsible for being strong to give them everything literally everything, and by time I get to feel lost that those people didn't make me feel I'm valued, and I ask myself no I didn't give enough I've to bear more, and if the things get worth, I escape from all those people I promised myself to be for them all Time, it's exhausting, and every time I say "I won't forget myself, and I'll try to explain everything" I return to the same loop, just waiting for this permission from everyone bec. I done so much, let me do it 😐

Well, this specific topic hadn't been in my mind because of priority. One sided is easy but yeah it won't always work out. But yeah priority did end my last relationship too. Maybe to move it up a lil on the list?
