You are not crazy at all. The less you have to go out and be around other people the better. And if there is a wave of panic, there may be a shortage on specific items. It’s better to have a back up of those things. Secondly, as the days go on and more people become infected, the possibility of infected people handling your food goes up. Better to have those items already and avoid this. What’s the worst case of getting more food now? Nothing.

I hope Dr Campbell reads this- I have a question that I hope he can give his opinion on: - Is it possible that all the mild cases of covid-19 are partly as a result of less exposure to the virus pathogens? For instance... you didn't get infected with a lot of it, just a very small dose? (Breathing it in the air or through a mask as opposed to someone sneezing right up in your face?)

  • @matas1486

Very unlikely. In theory you just need one virus which then replicates itself to start the exponential spread of the infection. As far as I understand, it's like you can't get just a little bit pregnant. The initial amount maybe just makes it a bit more or less likely that you'll be it (pregnant/infected), but once you're it, you're it.

The more times a virus spreads the more chance that it mutates. That's what I have learnt from watching so many videos on the topic lately.
