You are getting what I used to teach nurses-very basic and I believe it should be taught in high schools-Physicians & scientists receive a much more detailed education about each virus bacteria prion fungus etc in a semester course in microbiology, a detailed study of the micro and macroscopic affect on cells of disease=pathology and study for years all this together with clinical symptoms & chemical affects on hormones = endocrinology etc

Don't panic. Just keep in mind the protocols the doctor went over. I've been looking at the data out of korea and 3100 confirmed thru testing and 17 deaths...a very low death rate. And out of those deaths most were elderly. One last night was sick and 91 years old. The thing to remember is most people below 50 will have very few symptoms and I think almost no fatalities in children. The oldest are most at risk and that's why we want to minimize spread from happening since we all have elderly loved ones. The Dutch have an excellent health system from what I've heard. So, tell everyone to watch dr. Campbell to educate themselves and to wash their hands. Stay safe.

Good evening from Luxembourg ! We have our first confirmed case, a 40 year old male who flew back from Italy at the beginning of the week, symptoms started at the end of the week ( the fever caused him to call the medical hotline). The man and his family are quarantined in hospital, the mans family currently show no symptoms. The health ministry is currently investigating the aircraft passenger manifest, contacting the passengers, checking their movements during the week and will procede with testing. The decision has been made NOT to cancel local public events as the risk is still considered low...

I have Sarcoidosis of the Lungs and will never ever forget when I was first having problems breathing and went to the ER. They had to do a blood gas test...they had to draw blood from an artery in my wrist. Now I'm NOT GOOD with a regular blood draw so you can imagine my horror, lol! The guy that came to do it was the nicest guy on 2 feet! I remember asking him if it'll hurt more than a regular blood draw and lol, he says "I'm not going to lie, it's def going to hurt and it's prob going to hurt a LOT...BUT, I am really good at this and it's one of my specialty draws and your nurse happens to know this so she called me down specifically...you'll be fine as long as you trust me, take a deep breath when I say and do not move your arm. Ready?" and he was sooo good, he got it 1st shot, it def hurt, def more than a regular draw. However, he was not just good at drawing blood, he was excellent at talking a younger, and very freaked out girl off the ledge, lol!!! I was ready to leave AMA about 5 min prior to him coming down, lol! Im a wimp when it comes to medical stuff on me, lol! And thankfully I never had to get that done again! But, when Dr. C spoke about the blood gas machine, I automatically thought of this.

The u.k government are going to enact some serious stuff next week maybe the emergency powers act meaning central government hands power to local experts may be good cause this government have only been in power since January. I don't trust Boris or his puppet master Cummings what is needed now is clear out all hospitals of non critical cases make the police and all front line emergency services wear masks from today... The cases have doubled here 3 per day for 2 days.we also in the last 2 weeks have had 3 bad storms plus massive flooding.some may say calm down but work this out from January to now 83000 infected 45 countries1 major locust invasion in Africa upto 1 billion 2 3 major named storms in less than 2 weeks in UK it is like a emergency contingency movie from the 50s really so movie like it's scary everyone is panicking because half the bloody country is under water due to floods the rest is seeing schools closed and doctors plus a man who works with the military waiting 4 days to see a NHS infection doctor

Best thing to do if you feel sick is stay at home, get better or kick the bucket. If you go to hospital and don't have it, will probably catch it there. Also if you go to hopital, you don't know what the authorities have planned for you. If you are going to die anyway, home is the best place. :)
