I feel like Mahome's playoff battles in the past with Brady, though few, made him a better quarterback in crunch time. Man what a classic Super Bowl. 1000% he got to watch the old master do it at the highest level, learned how to act and access situations, know when to be conservative and protex the ball and when to just tale over and alsolearned that losing in the playoffs hurts and he doesn't want that to happen it is truly special to watch those two in particular play a 2 minute drive at the end of a game to win it

I think even going back to his time with Texas Tech. Those teams had the 150th ranked defense in the nation, so Mahomes had to score pretty much every time he had the ball. He was constantly playing from behind & trying to win it on a final drive, while being down 3-4 points. I think it definitely helped him to learn how to handle those situations in a calm manner.

49ers players had that "we are dead" look after scoring a field goal but leaving 2 minutes to go in OT for Mahomes.

The 49ers' defensive coordinator is unqualified for the job. It's clear to me that the individual talent on the defense was making him appear competent and compensating for his horrific situational play-calling. The 49ers decided that they wanted to lose when they put the ball in Purdy's hands instead of McCaffery's on multiple 3rd down plays that could have ended the game.

The 49ers defensive coordinator called an excellent game. Shanahan isn’t qualified to be the head coach. He should concentrate on Offensive coordinator.

I really can not believe that the Chiefs won. I thought that the 49ers had this in their grasp at several points, especially after their last FG. Congats to the Chiefs. They have officially reached dynasty status.

I thought that when the OT period ended and the 49ers were winning it was over I knew both teams got a possession even with a TD but I didn't know that they got to finish their possession if the time ran out. That was a tight and an exciting game. First the 4th quarter ended in a tie 19 to 19. Then in overtime the 49ers got a field goal bringing their score up to 22, but at the final 2 seconds the Chiefs scored a touchdown winning the Superbowl 25 to 22! Great comeback Chiefs!👍👍

Mahomes is the new GOAT. The confidence, calm and determination he emitted on the field during the last minutes of the OT dictated the outcome and I was rooting for the Niners this time. Some of the Chiefs players already lost the game and Mahomes just turned it around all by himself.

His skills, talent, and abilities are simply unmatched, the most talented and best all around QB to EVER wear an NFL jersey, PERIOD, and time has NOTHING to do with that. Took an average team to the SB and won it, and against a top defense at that, those last 2 drives when they needed their guy he was flawless. Even with all those weapons Purdy couldn't win against him or that KC defense, that's the difference between Mahomes and every other QB in the NFL. Can't wait to see what the doubters and haters are gonna have to say about this one.

His career is already solidified he is playing for fun for the rest of his career ! Moving forward

how? he's been in the best situation his whole career with Reid and Kelce. for years it was "tom vs bill," then tom put the debate to bed. mahomes hasn't even separated his greatness from reid yet, if we're going to be consistent. brady made bill a winning coach from day 1. Say what? At the end of regulation 49s had 2 TDs and only 2 FGs, Chiefs had only 1 TD and 3 FGs. Chiefs have won multiple games this season where they had few TDs and bucket loads of FGs.
