Anyone saying this Super Bowl was boring is crazy. Both defenses were playing great and forcing offensive mistakes. CMC was going off. Mahomes was uncomfortable all game. Also had excitement on special teams. The 2 longest Super Bowl field goals. A muffed punt recovered by KC. SF was crushing Richie James every kick return. Then of course Mahomes marching down the field in a high stakes, championship on the line situation and delivering the goods. I thought it was awesome football. Edit: Also the blocked extra point! Great game!!

Mahomes is the perfect storm of a QB: he brings you the stats of Marino & Peyton, the winning of Montana & Brady, the clutchness of a Elway & Brady, the highlight worthy plays of an Aaron Rodgers, the mobility of a Steve Young, the toughness & arm talents of Favre.

Just wait till Ravens learn their lesson next year unlike Shanahan. Just wait till Father Time catches Kelce. Chiefs won’t even finish as best team of their own era let alone all time

I am a Ravens fan, but I have to acknowledge greatness. What is incredible about Mahomes' run this season: The Chiefs did not have a 1000 yard receiver/tight end. The Chiefs did not have a 1000 yard running back. The Chiefs' offensive line lead the league in penalties. The right tackle, Jaawan James, led the league in penalties. The Chiefs' wide receivers led the league in drops. The Chiefs went 5-5 in their last ten regular season games. Mahomes beat the number 1 and 2 seeds on the road to get to the Super Bowl. Mahomes beat the NFC's 1 seed in the Super Bowl. The Bills, Ravens, and 49ers were all ranked in the top 10 in defense and offense this year. Mahomes faced 4 players who finished top 5 in the MVP voting, including the winner. Mahomes became the first player to in NFL history to have 3 double digits deficits in the Super Bowl and win. He threw a game winning touchdown in overtime to win; Brady is the only other player in league history to do that. Mahomes won his 3rd Super Bowl MVP by the age of 28, becoming the first to do that. Mahomes is now 15-3 in the playoffs after 6 years, only trailing Montana and Brady in playoff wins. Mahomes is now 1 in playoff history in Td's, winning percentage, and total yards per game; 8-2 win trailing by 7 or more in the playoffs. He isn't the Goat yet, but he is doing crazy stuff.

Shanny has made some bad calls in big games, but this loss wasn’t on him IMO. This on the players for making mistakes and not executing in crucial moments. The McCaffrey fumble. The fumbled punt. Trent getting back to back penalties and killing a drive. Banks getting a false start on the edge of FG range. Right side of the o line not blocking Chris Jones 3rd and goal when Jennings would have been wide open for a TD etc. etc.

Yes, that's how we measured Tom. Once Tom won 5 SB, he is now the new GOAT, but 6, it's the cherry 🍒 on top of the cake 7 while beating Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, and Drew Brees is just another extra layer of safety net for the GOAT. Brady also holds all the records. Tom has Lebron James stats with Michael Jordan genes and championships to back it up. Mahomes ain't even close, because of the lack of years.

It's a team sport. Nobody thinks Purdy is better than Mahommes, but Purdy did his job, but the coaching and supporting players did not help Purdy to win the game. Too many mistakes, turnovers, and penalties that put SF in a 3rd and long situation way too many times. Purdy actually should have ran it more to keep KC defense in check. The 4th and 4 yards at the end of the 4th...lots of 4s here...Purdy should have went for it and ran the ball to get the first down with blockers and a set play for him, but they were cool with kicking a maybe feild goal for 53 yards giving Mahommes 2 minutes to drive down and score. You want to win, you need great coaches like Andy Reed.
