I can recall when most players And ,instructors thought it to be an abolition, and were just short of ridiculing Buddy. Buddy and his “Pause” is now one of the most revered of Players ever. Nice cover- up by one commenter for his buddy. Thought he was shooting the six while the five was still on the table. Don’t feel bad. We all still get “CONFUSED “ by Matchroom’s PURPLE five ball ! Come on “ Enemy “, How bout just paying attention and admitting that the “ PURPLE “ five was an horrible mistake. Put the colors back proper and problem solved.Otherwise this mistake looks as if it may follow you to your grave. It just keeps on popping up.(And always will) It is just WRONG!

So there must be something about the rules I don't know because I don't understand how Melling's shot at 1:09:54 is legal. He appears to be hitting the wrong ball, and then he gets another shot without potting anything.

You're right, you don't know 9-ball rules. Perfectly legal shot.

Seemed to be a push shot and given back to Chris. Mika could have taken it.

@@BryanO92 Not an APA format match. Different rules. Otherwise, you'd be right. Nick Turner has it correct.
