The kid @33:15 cracked me up.

Shane is a demon at the break. Knowing it’s the most important shot I think Chris should’ve planned more or practiced his breaking shot. Especially since they have history playing against each other I figured he would’ve knew SVB’s strategy going into this to dominate off the break and he did exactly that. To Chris’ defense he just couldn’t get a stroke going on any of his breaks which is heart breaking and just gets so enraging as the rounds progress onward! Then Shane hits that golden break man that had to have shattered Chris lol but Both played super well and there never was really a dull moment even with such a nice and clean lead on SVB’s end of the spectrum, but way to stick in the fight on chris’ behalf of things, to capitalize on those errors by Shane

18:07 ish Melling takes the easy way out and then flukes a hook...lol In the end it cost him the game. Great match and great playing by both players. Melling is the only player i ever see congratulate players when they make a good shot. Makes me feel he's a gentlemen and very down to earth. When Shane shoots, the cue ball always goes where he wants it and makes every shot look easy. Amazing!!

OK Chris we have a referee racking the balls, anxious to see how this goes...lol

Melling says at the beginning of this video that he has beaten Shane every time a ref racked the balls. Is he implying that Shane cheats? I've heard other Brits like Shaw accuse him of cheat racking. I believe they take full advantage of the rules when they rack just like Shane does. When they have that legal break rule in place and rack the 9 on the spot, expect the 1 ball to go in the side, and the wing ball in the corner pocket. The referee racked for this match and he didn't beat Shane!

Most of them are just finding excuses for losing to Shane I guess He won a lot of tournaments using magic racks or referee racking, including the five US opens You don’t really need to cheat if you can break as well as him

I think y'all could've squeezed one more add in there. It'd have to be short but just saying it's possible.

@@chrism1060 Fair enough and my apologies, I maybe did not understand his accent and thought that he had said better rather than beaten. I still do not get the OP's point though, as if Chris is saying he beat Shane previously every time the referee has racked the balls, then it is either true or not and has no bearing on the future.

I hope Christy reads my comment... Shane can juice the rack and it still would be correct... you're just a weekly league player compared to the SVB... !

You should see Shane van choking in the mosconi cup...think he choked a lot this match...he's the pro at choking then!!! 37-95 matches lol he the worst player ever in the mosconi cup. Only 30 percent wins..lol
