People forget he's the only manager relying on loan deals. The rest of the "big clubs" loan players out, we have to loan players in. So the point about recruitment is moot.

You could say that Martinez has probably been the only successful signing out of the lot. So if he's having input(which he has and a lot of the players he's brought in are players he's already managed) with the recruitment then you have to say he's partly responsible. I think there are some aspects he's been hamstrung by; like the fees spent on certain players. I'm not convinced over some of the names united are being linked with and with the lack of options out there, I wouldn't be against giving him another season. - Dave

That's how it's been since moyes was manager. Over paying for under performing players, I don't see how Erik was supposed to change that with no difference in the staff above him.
Erik ten Hag is not good enough for epl and champion league.
