I still remember Christopher Glenn's Voice like it was yesterday, his work in the early 70's had a big impact on my desire to someday do Voice-Over!

In the News starts at 2:15 I will never forget Christopher Glenn's voice. So crisp, never overdone. Made us kids feel like we were actually intelligent and important. Pardon me, I'm getting misty-eyed.

Major flashbacks to the 1980's for me right now. Man, where has the time gone?

AAAHHHH the 80's. The mot awesome decade. Saturday morning cartoons from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Commercials that had to do with kids, educational, breakfast, candy, and toy commercials and of course "In The News". Anyone who remembers the 80's would never not know that theme music.

This was ten days before my 14th birthday.

I loved In The News.Watched it all the time.

In 1970, CBS attempted to do an educational segment called "In The Know", which was "hosted" by Josie and the Pussycats. It did not work and lasted only one season.

This when everything was ok for me when I was kid I'm a grow man it still like looking at these bumpers it take me back in the 80's was fun and 90's

So much nostalgia in one video.

I watched Sat. morning cartoons in the 70's but in the 80's I was grown up & not interested in them anymore. So I'm surprised to see In The News & reruns of Land Of The Lost still on in late 1985.

Interesting Mix, Levy's, In the News, Land of the Lost, 911 call, Dangeouns and Dragons.... Oh the memories =-D.

Takes me back to my childhood, the stentorian voice of Christopher Glenn was crisp and knowledgeable. The sounder for In The News takes me back... The funny part was that one of the sleestaks on Land of The Lost would eventually be a NBA player (Bill Laimbeer)

I always loved these In The News segments, especially Christopher Glenn,.

ChristiRich I am watching this, on my 51st Birthday! This aired, two days before my Father's death, so I do not remember if I saw it, then. Saturday mornings, then, are great memories, now!

If you're interested, the days this year of 2013 correspond with the year of 1985.
