In Song: Pretty Yende (Zulu)
Музыка
Iconic soprano Pretty Yende grew up buoyed by family and a tight-knit church community, surrounded by love and a collective joy for singing. As Yende prepares to make her San Francisco Opera debut in the new production of La Traviata, this music-rich episode of In Song opens a window into the world of this enchanting artist, following her home as she visits with her congregation and her family, and performs with the young students of her alma mater, the Ndlela Secondary School.

South Africans are the most gifted singers that Ive ever come across.
She was born in a township, a poor South African ghetto at the time of Apartheid, and she never imagined, at the age of 38, being the personal guest of Charles III to sing at his coronation.... I am proud of Pretty YENDE the first African to sing in front of the world for a historic event. Believe and work to realize your dreams because nothing is impossible to the one who believes

What's the question that she became a singer! These people are all singers. Afrikaans are singers. Africans too. So the fact she performs in classical music is mzy be just a detail!
