From Lesotho, it means ‘"Bless in the name of the (Heavenly) Father" in all three languages- Sesotho, Sepedi and Setswana - Thankyou to those who shared the translation with us.

💙🎵💦 Sing for Water was initiated by composer Helen Chadwick as a project to raise money for WaterAid at The Thames Festival in 2002. Mass choral events now take place across the country and have raised over £1 million for WaterAid's life-saving projects providing clean water, hygiene and sanitation in the world's poorest communities.
💙🎵💦 Sing for Water London takes place annually at The Scoop as part of the Thames Festival and features over 500 singers singing a watery themed repertoire. The 2019 event raised £37k for WaterAid projects in Malawi. In 2020 we went virtual and look forward to returning again in person.

Don't be impressed. Expect it. Why do you use English in Lesotho. Decolonisation of mind is a must. The Western world's hypocrisy is a sham.

Our country at its best. This had me bawling my eyes out! The was the last chorus at my mom’s funeral and this brought it all back. Brilliant performance and I’m so proud of you!

could any soul translate the song and explain to me a little about it. I went to a christmas concert a few days and one of these songs was this, which i really enjoyed. It was very original cause im from chile and we use to listen the most typical christmas songs a a few folcloric but not much more. Greetings and blessings from Chile!
