I knitted the Sumac sweater from Merino Extra Fine of the colour 08 (greige) twice - the one for me and the other for my daughter. It's so fun to knit it - the textured patterns are very interesting and the sweater looks amazing.

I think you could use that yarn for the Augustins no 1. You might have to change needle size to get gauze. Swatch and see. Also, it looks like you might have a couple skeins of that color in your stash on the shelf behind you in the podcast. Actually it might be Baby Merino. Glad you got the suits finished. I knew you would❤❤

I have seen a photo on Instagram with someone who made the Augustins no1 in that exact yarn combo, so I might try😅 I don't have this exact color in my stash, I have some light grey merino extra fine, and that looks really similar, at least from afar. But the greige one is a bit more beige

The marling of your sweater looks like you did it intentionally as a yoke. It looks very nice that way. It only shows up if you’re looking for it.

Yes, and it's the same difference in marling ad on my son's Melange Sweater. I think I just notice the difference a lot more because I'm staring at it while knitting😅

What about the salty days sweater for the greige yarn? I think should have enough yarn too and it’s very similar in style to the ones you were mentioned.

Hi Oline :-) Me and my family are planning a camping-roadtrip to Norway this summer and would love some recommendations if you have any along the route from Kristiansand to Stavanger (other than the yarn heaven in Sandnes) 😍🧶 I have an almost 6 year old and an almost 4 year old - so anything fun to do with young kids 🏕️ we are takling the ferry from Denmark and are not familiar with the area so any tips are most welcome. Best Easter-wishes! ❤🐣

Hi! I'm not the most familiar in the area, I live 9/12 hours away😅 But there is "dyreparken" in Kristiansand. It's a zoo/amusement park that's really popular with the kids in Norway! I also found this article: wanderlog.com/drive/between/10346/10026/kristiansand-to-stavanger-drive Hopefully, that can be of help!

Hei 😊 I am not expert at all I am actually a beginner knitter but I searched about how to add more drape to hand knits on the net after I heard your issue with your sweater and I found some articles saying that white vinegar helped with softening the yarn because it helped removing excess dye and residues.. and that is can also help unshrink a handknit too, so I just wanted to drop it here maybe something you could look into more to know if it could also help with the drape (I am assuming if it helps to unshrink knits that means it could relax the yarn.. Tôt is also mentioned to soak the knits with water and white vinegar no longer than 30 min but like I said I am not experienced so it would be good to double check this information to see it that is something that could help you ?
