Jonas Neubauer was the 7-time Classic Tetris World Champion. He has also achieved many other feats in the world of Tetris. But besides those small achievements, he has inspired hundreds of people across the world to pick up Tetris for the NES and learn to play it like a professional. He loved seeing the younger generation playing this timeless game, and was very selfless in competition. Sadly, Jonas passed away far too early on January 5, 2021. Even though he is gone, he is not forgotten.
