So what kind of strat you guys are using to farm YOUR T17 and which gave you best result?

The map boss one looks fun, but I swapped to a pure mapper and it would slow me down heaps so not that one :P I do like the maps drop corrupted to offset T17 RNG, but then I feel like singular focus is best which isn't as good for T17 maps

I ran 40 Maps using B2B (All maps 100 - 120% Qty / Carto Singularity, + 2x Duplication, & Pandemonium): 20 Toxic Sewer / 10 Strand / 10 Dunes (Smaller Sample Size). Toxic Sewer was good and dropped 24 Ziggurats and a decent amount of shaper, elder, & conqueror maps. Strand was good also with 17 Fortress Drops (3 maps with 3x fortress drops). Dune was not very good with only 3 Fortress drops and also dropped fewer shaper, elder, & conqueror maps.

Hello! Ive tried this strat of yours (cheap version) and i must say its very good so thats alot! I chose to bounce between Dunes and Toxic Sewer,so far as ive noticed TS dropped more t17 than dunes (but thats probably RNG) So yea,i really enjoying it and its so simple! But 1 question,would you recommend adding MF gear to this? Or it does basicly nothing for this strat besides more qant and so on,but is it even worth adding since you are getting so much with B2B talent already,might be not worth weakening your char for some quant,what would you suggest?

Hey there! Glad it is working for you, MF would definitely help with amount of drops and if you can fit it in - do that. However it is not affecting maps in particular.

You are right about that - MF will rise general drops in the process but not the map drops themselves.

Is there an optimal favorite map set up if I'm bouncing between toxic sewer and dunes?

Perfectly I would go full favorite dunes (1 sewers) when you are running sewers and full favorite sewers (1 dunes) while you are running dunes. Hope it helps!

why do you need to take "maps has a chance to become 1 tier higher" since you have 4 void stones ? isn't that 100% guaranteed that they get upgraded ?!

Unfortunatley it is not - let me copy my answer from another comment - It's been well known that we still drop T15 and even T14 even with full voidstones. Good explanation - With all voidstones you still "drop" t14-15's but they dont actually drop, but if you have more "increased chance for maps to drop 1 tier higher" they start to drop as t16's coz your limiting your map drops with the voidstones to "only" t16's, so you need to upgrade these "hidden" map drops enough so you get more map drops you actually want. Maven is great but it will require to drop dunes / strand / toxic sewers and will be harder to adjust. Could be an option still.

Not really, lower tiers just provide less modifiers / quantity / loot in general. For T17 farm you perfectly need to run T16.

if you add 4 watchstones in the atlas your dunes will be T16 like all other maps. And don't worry - feel free to hit me on twitch if you will have more questions, we all been new at some point!

You need a really big sample size to get proper numbers - it also depends on the strategy as well.

Would stacking more map mods in atlas work better for overall drops? Or do you think it's not that relevant

Yeah, it will provide more T16 maps therefore more chances for them to convert to T17.

Harder to count profit since it depends on the strategy and speed. You can expect about 0.8-2 T17 maps per 1 T16 ona average. Cheers!

So I've run about 50-100 maps now of each setup and honestly I don't think that the Pandemonium or Terrors is that worth it. 8-mod regex maps cost 13-15c each so around 55c per map vs 19c per map. Also, do the duplication scarabs work on the maps from bosses? It seems like almost every map duplicates except for the boss drops. I'm not 100% sure the duplicate scarabs work for boss dropped map and considering the majority of map drops using the expensive setups are from boss drops maybe the duplicate scarabs can be changed out for Cartography (for more chances at t17) or Corruption to sustain your maps. P.S. I don't see how Terrors could ever be better than Pandemonium since you only get 5 bosses vs more than 5 practically every time and terrors costs more.

Terrors could be better if it would cost less. Duplication is not working on Uniques from bosses - BUT if it would be T17 it is still can duplicate. Cartography is ok tho and 1 can be changed for sure. Cheers!

I've seen a lot of pseudo misinformation with singular focus with people saying how "it doesnt prevent t17s from dropping so its fine" ignoring the fact that while thats true it still prevents a lot of maps from dropping that would convert. you still get a ton of what you have favoured though and its pretty easy to get used to only picking up those ones and leaving other maps you dont want behind.

@@wildemanbeats You are 100% right about that - I have seen a few myself and it is pretty sad in my opinion. Any tests with sample size higher then 100 would showcase that Singular Focus lowers amount of T17 drops.

Why don't just run shaper maps with carto singularity + duplication, influence conversion, pandemonium? Only need a few map sets to kick start and it will sustain itself forever, instead of wasting time and div buying 8mod maps with correct regex. After every map set you can run maven's invitation for even more profit from selling maven's writ, orb of conflict and awakened gems (need to do 71+% corrupted invitation). All 5 t17 maps can drop. Average 1-2 t17 maps per run. This has been proven by many others to drop ways more t17 maps and generate more wealth than doing t16 8mod maps. So many other things to sell besides t17 maps and the drops inside maven, such as sirus and elder map sets, shaper fragments, memory maps, and so on.

Well, this is strategy as well and it could be nice too. However Doing Shaper maps vs 8mod is Not providing more T17 maps on margin basis, it is just another strategy that mostly depends on the scarabs themselves. You are also losing profit since you can drop a lot of less expensive T17 maps instead of Force dropping Fortress / Ziggurat which cost more by at least 30%. They are also longer (especially Chimera) so you are losing efficiency at there too. Will invitation drop compensate for it / Maybe but it is depends on the market state. You can also easily sustain 8mods while running any given strats instead of buying them - I have a dedicated timestamp in the video. Cheers!

@ronarray fortress don't sell for that much anymore, it and zigg and abomination are now all 0.8 div ea on tft, and by the way, these 3 maps drop much more often than the 2 cheaper ones (no idea why but that's my observation after 2 weeks running the strat. Also, you drop tons of sirus and elder map sets, shaper fragment sets, tons of memory maps, they are significant profit too. In each map, those smaller drops can easily be worth 1 div or more. Next, being able to run maven's invitation every 4 maps is a huge profit source, dropping 5-7 crescent fragments per invitation, and chance for orb of conflict which is like 1 every 3-4 invitations, both can sell for around 0.8-1 div, and awakened gems also drop a lot. Even before fortress became popular (cheaper than zigg and abo), I already made around 20 div/hr and I wasn't even trying to optimize every run. Also last but not least, 8mod maps even with correct regex is noticeably harder run than shaper maps, thus risking more deaths and waste of exp.

You are able to directly farm fortress this way I did the mavin farm about a month ago it made me around 600 divines (no joke) probably more but elder shaper map prices are pretty low now and fort maps still sell 4/5 or 7/10 all day long the other t17 maps have tanked in price unfortunately that’s why a lot of us moved to b2b

I can confirm that I have tried all the listed methods over the past few weeks, and a few more, and all of the above methods work well. I personally prefer the B2B with double carto and double dup scarab because its just simpler to run and I can blast out toxic sewers easily for zig farming, but the terror/pand method does average SLIGHTLY higher t17s per map, but its not a huge difference once you consider to extra cost. However, I farm T17s with B2B anyways so that method allows me to use a very similar tree with only a handful of respec point (mostly just removing map tier up nodes), allowing me to use my other 2 trees for other farming methods. One I use for beast rotas, and the other is my experimental tree that I use to try different methods.

​@@ronarray I ran about 20 b2b maps(2 times with hight inv#2, the rest were low inv#1). I got only 2 t17 maps. I rewatched the video and the atlas a couple of times, I'm sure I didn't miss anything and I'm doing the same, but usually I only get 4-6 t16 maps and a couple of scarabs. If this is how it should be, then it's a cringe. Maybe it's just bad luck. But I still want to thank you for the farm from rogue exiles. I farmed a lot of currency with it at the start of the league

99% a good video, but 1 thing is terrible wrong. If you have 4 voidstones you dont drop T15, only T16. The chance for 1 tier higher, or the corresponding scarab are then completly and utterly useless. As long as you have 4 watchstones you therefore wont ever profit from the notables on the tree and that scarab
